Come on in and get the grand tour of my beautiful kitchen. I am so thankful for every detail, it is for sure a pleasure to cook in. My info: Gay Jordan PO Box 1221 Cleveland, Tx 77328 gjordan46@sbcglobal.net
Heather, The Kneady Homesteader, was right when she sent us here to see your amazing kitchen. It is such a blessing to be able to spend time each day doing what you love in such a happy space.
My mom and dad had a lamp just like that. 😊 I absolutely love your kitchen! I have been married for 41 years and I love my kitchen too. ❤️ I love love the chalkboard your little granddaughter writes on. How sweet and precious! You should take pictures of it occasionally. Those pictures will be treasures for her. 😊 Thank you for sharing your life and your beautiful kitchen with us! 🥰
Love and Life Awwww....I love having treasures from Mama! I like the idea of a picture of the blackboard. She’s the only granddaughter...along with 4 wonderful grandsons! ❤️😍😍😍
You have a wonderfully organized kitchen. It is a dream kitchen that anyone would love to cook in. You have thought of everything. Thank you so much for the tour.
Girl…. I wait he 42 years for it!😂. We remodeled a few years back. I’m so happy and thankful !!!! It’s definitely my happy place! God bless and protect you!
Your hubby was a very talented wood craftsman. I love Tupperware too, I have selected pieces that are vintage from my Antique shopping trips. For my spice collection, I use a Lazy Susan to spin so I can see them all- my memory started running away from me a few years back, and I can’t run fast enough to catch it!! 😂 I would love to have a gas stove, but I’m 65 now and not in the best of heath so I took that off my list a few years back. Also, because of my memory my two boys won’t eat here like they used to! I’ve forgotten all my recipes, but I look at it as I can learn all over again- over and over and over!! 😅 I love yours- the griddle and 6 burners wow!! I am blessed a little more than I realized back in 2021- I found out I had esophageal cancer (adenocarcinoma), I didn’t even get a chance to ask for help from above. I still had an Angel visit me and hug me with her wings and I felt love like I never knew existed! I went in the hospital to have it treated the next week, and the doctor told me he went in there and couldn’t find that cancer anywhere! So we are all blessed in one way or another- the good Lord above sees to that!! I just love your kitchen sweet lady, and it is clear that you need it for all the cookin you do. Thanks for sharing and Blessings my friend ❤😊❤
Thank you for sharing your "happy place" with us. Enjoyed seeing how you have things arranged, and convenient. Tks again for letting us visit your kitchen.
I love your kitchen. We have been married forty years and I have collected so many things in my kitchen that it looks so overcrowded. But I do love to cook and bake.
Love your stove and especially your wall mounted pot filler faucet ,as for all the kitchen gadgets I have plenty in my kitchen too just can’t help myself.
I totally understand why this is your Happy Place :-) This was a wonderful kitchen tour. Thank you for sharing this part of your life with us. Gave me a lot of ideas for my new home.

I found your RU-vid Channel today and it was like finding myself. I do believe we are kindred Spirits! I liked and subscribed in the first 10 minutes of the video and am now going back and watching what came before. You are delightful and I can hardly wait to get in the kitchen with one of your recipes.
awwww....welcome to apron strings! I am so honored that you're here! Lots of good stuff on here....just look at me...I eat well!!!!! hahahaha I have some really easy , good recipes....passed down from my family of good cooks! Have a blessed week!
I just found you and I have to say I feel like I found my twin. Only in the way that I love to cook. And I love all your stuff and I sure do share your love of kitchen gadgets. There were a lot of things on this tour that I had no idea about what they were. You always would say that you always talked about them but as I said I just found you and boy am I glad I did!!!!! If there are any channels or other mentors you could suggest to me, I would be ever so grateful. My name is Donna. I am recuperating at the moment from hip surgery. I have had quite a tome since March 25th of 2020. I came home from working a 24 hour shift as a caregiver and found my beloved husband deceased in our bed. My cat was with him and honestly has never been quite the same. Since then, I have had my right knee replaced, then I was getting ready to do the right hip and I fell and herniated a disk very badly which required back surgery. I had that when 4 weeks into recuperating my foot blew up. After Ct scans and yet another MRI I needed a “revision” I have still no idea why?? So back to another back surgery and more rehabilitation. When I was ready to discuss my hip surgery because now I was in SO MUCH PAIN with my hip, my Dr. Said no not now…you’ve been through too much in too short of a time. He told me to go home and lose 20 lbs and then come back. Now I didn’t mention that I am alone. After my Nelson died I was left without any of my own family in the area. Upside of that is that I have family all over the US and a brother in Vietnam. So a lot of places to visit. I’ve lived here in Buffalo NY most of my life except for about 8 years when I lived in Houston. I loved it there but frankly I did love and miss my family just a wee bit more. So anyway the Dr. Told me to go back and lose 20 lbs and then we will talk again. That was a tall order considering I could barely walk so I sure couldn’t work as a caregiver. Trying to lose 20 lbs on the 2nd floor flat that I lived in all alone without much company was tough. But I lost 32 lbs before I went back to him I believe in my surgeon so much I would not even consider going to anyone else. So I finally had my surgery on Feb 8th. I am over the moon because I can FINALLY walk WITHOUT SEVERE PAIN for the first time in 16 months. YIPPEE!!!! I am sorry for all of the banter…hope you are not just all out bored. You are going to be seeing me here at your page just immersing myself in your knowledge as often as I can. I do have many skills…jackess of all trades and probably master of none. Not really…I am a Master Picture Framer I also have my Accounting Degree. I can tell you about those pursuits if you are interested but cooking for me is my passion. Not new but brought more to the forefront because my husband and I both loved to do it. We had decided to cook in our retirement together and have dinner parties for our friends. That wasn’t to be but I know he would have been disappointed had I not gone forward to learning more and collecting the gadgets to make it all easier and much more fun. The pans, the knives, all those things to assure a good product.
We built this house ourselves. Troy cut the trees, helped mill the boards, stacked to dry… then built with them. We used income tax return 2 years for the inside brick arch n wall in the den, and the fireplace!!!! We moved into a debt free beautiful home age 35. Took 4 yrs to do.
Ms Gay, I'm not gonna lie. Your channel is cute, and you have got it together! And.......your kitchen is a dream with all your cabinets, drawers, and gadgets. I don't watch cooking shows much besides my daughter's because I have to eat completely organic or I get sick but I like your channel and I'm glad you reached out and that I discovered you. PS pound cake is my favorite and I was wishing so bad I could eat your mother's recipe.
Awwww. That pound cake is delicious! She cooked one or two a week. She’d give one to her pastor. I’m gonna try to eat healthier… I really am. 😂😂. I’ll be watching and learning from y’all. God bless you!!!
Gay. I've been binge watching your videos. Love it. Your kitchen is absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite colors is red as well. It just seems so welcoming. Kitchen gadgets are also my weakness. Everytime something new comes out I think I have to have it. LOL. Just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your channel.
Reva....thank you for watching...the older ones , too!!!!!! I am so glad you're here!!!! Thank you about the kitchen. It is a joy to work in....a dream come true for me. You have a blessed Easter!!!!
Hi Gay I just recently subscribed to your channel. What a cozy well thought out kitchen you have. Thank you for sharing your recipes. Your such a sweetheart and I love your accent. I’m in 🇨🇦 and enjoy your Southern flair. ❤
That was a wonderful treat. Now I'm looking forward to the sewing room tour and I hope you'll share some sewing videos like you do with the cooking videos. Blessings from Indy.
You are like me! I am 69 and thru the years of gifts and buying I have every thing one needs! In fact we bought our granddaughters kitchen aids for wedding gifts! I told them no excuses for not being young Betty Crockers! Lol! You are a very blessed lady! I have been married for 53 years to my high school sweetheart! We worked hard so we could retire in 2009! Life was great until I had my first stroke in July 2017 and my mind was basically short circuited for 18 months! Then I had my second stroke in June of 2019! We were married July 5, 1969 and had a big 50th trip planned but by the Grace of God I was saved ! That recovery was awful! I spent most of the next year and a half in bed! January of 2022 I started getting my strength back and I love every minute I am up and around! So I am blessed daily! Enjoyed your tour and your channel! I have been binge watching! Hugs, Deb
Deb....I love your great attitude!!!! I am so glad you are up and about now. I kinda understand because Troy is so limited on what he is able to do compared to "always" You just learn to deal with what you can't change.!!!! We have been married 52 years....June 6 will be 53!
I LOVE IT! What a fabulous working kitchen. You are blessed. It's so fun to see how other lovers-of-all-things-kitchen use their precious things. Yes, I'm one of those, too. We downsized our home just over a year ago so we are upgrading nearly everything here, from top to bottom. And I'm in the middle of a total kitchen remodel. The itch to get back in there is driving me insane. hahaha It won't be long now. The cabinets are installed. We are waiting on my sink/faucet to arrive so that we can get the Cambria Quartz Counter Top ordered. It's gonna be fabulous! The plumbing is complete and the electricians will be here next Wednesday. Of course the floor and appliances will need replacing all in their turn, first things first. I can hardly wait!! Thank you for sharing your happy place. I have several rooms and adapted closets around our home dedicated to all things kitchen. Yes, it's spilled over to much of our home. But as you say....it's what makes you happy. Physical disabilities have demanded my being home most of the time. The kitchen is the one place that makes me feel whole, sad but true. xoxoxo a fan from Ohio!
Valli S Omgoodness! Please send pics when it’s done.! I’m excited with you!! Kitchens do that to me 😂😂😂. I’m very blessed. Lots of things in it are a dream come true!
YOU Mrs Gay are SUCH a Blessing to watch and listen to 🙏🙏🙏 I just want to know when I can move in 😁😁😆😆 I promise I'll only live in your kitchen lol 😆. I too have a pot rack and I Love it. The paintings your Mom did are BEAUTIFUL, and I want that stuffed hen😁. My kitchen is also done in roosters/hens and it's Red as well. Many blessings to you and your family from middle GA 🙏 Kendra
I love watching your videos and learning from you. I feel like a southern woman at heart Texas is my second home even do I wasn't born here. One of my passion is cooking even do I didn't have the pleasure to learn from my grandmother she was such a great cook but I moved to this country when I was little. I've been teaching myself to cook watching RU-vid videos from wonderful woman just like you. We leave in an apartment and my kitchens have always been small but I make the most of it. Excuse my spelling it's not the greatest but English is not my first language. I hope you read my message. God bless you!
Kiriam....thank you for your sweet words! Let me just say...half the ability to do something is the want to! Practice makes perfect! Anytime I can help, or answer a question...you’re welcome to email me! My email is in every videos info. You have a blessed day...and keep watching and cooking! God bless you!😀😀
My kitchen is my happy place too! So glad I found your channel, thanks to Linda's Pantry for mentioning you awhile back. You know, I never understood what you were saying when you said Boos Block! But on this one I saw the writing on the Boos block and now I know that's a name I'm not familiar with! Thanks for your channel ☺
Kathy Morris I’m soooo glad you’re here! Thanks a million for watching! I love doing this....playing in my own playground. 😂😂😂. Please share my channel!
Just love your kitchen! Please tell me about your beautiful red cabinerts and the red color on your walls. Thiis is my dream kitchen for sure! Thanks for sharing and especially your sweet advice at the end of your videos and most importantly you sharing the Lord with us! 💕
Thank you for your kind words! I do thank God for my kitchen.....its my dream!!! I think the color is poinsetta red sherwin williams. The cabinets were painted the red then glazed over with black...wiped off to get the right color. The walls are poinsetta also....just left bright red. I do appreciate you watching!!!
Thank you! I do love my kitchen. The slicer has a spot on the shelf in the mudroom. I just have toooooo many fun toys to display them all....and I love them every one!!!
Hi, Gay ... Darlene (Souper @60) suggested I check out your channel. I absolutely love your kitchen! You are so blessed! Thanks for sharing it with us. ✝️
Hi Gay and Happy Holidays! I found you through a link from Miss Lori. You have a beautiful Kitchen and I thank you for sharing. I just love the color of your cabinets. Have a wonderful New Year.
What a marvelous kitchen. I really like the chalkboard idea on the inside of the cabinet doors. I so appreciate you taking the time to give us the tour of your beautiful and useful kitchen along with the stories of where things came from.
WOW Gay what a gorgeous place to work in. I love to collect kitchen gadgets and tools for my kitchen too and I have to say this is the first house we have purchased that I have not put my pot rack up in. I was only complaining to Ray the other day that I want my pot rack up and he said to me I don't want to go up into the roof space to see where the beams are to screw the pot rack into. So I have to wait for my son in law to visit and he can get up there lol. Hugs, Michelle
bohemiangypsy99 oh my....I love that rack. You need to bribe that son in law to come visit....and bring his tools!😂😂. I love my kitchen! It’s truly my dream kitchen! Hope y’all are feeling well?!😍😍
@@ApronstringsGayJordan Yes Gay we are all feeling well today. How about your and Troy and of course April? Hope all is well across the pond. Hugs, Michelle
New subscriber here and I'm so glad I saw this video pop up! I hope to be able to "fix" my kitchen this spring and will use many of the ideas you have implemented like drawers rather than static shelves in the cabinets. I'm on the hunt for used (good) appliances like your Vikings as well.
I was so blessed to find my good used appliances! Thank you for watching. Thank you for subscribing!!!!! and please visit often!!! I love meeting new friends!!!!
Oh honey I get what you are saying about leaving things out…saves on the back even though you have those pull out shelves on the island. I love all your “stuff” I really do….
Gina M thank you! She is a little better. The fluid is gone from the chest cavity. That’s a big plus. Chemo makes her nauseous on different levels daily. That’s not good. I just wish I could fix it. 😪. Keep the prayers going up. ❤️🙏
