You worry too much! It's beautiful 😍. Art is not meant to be perfect . It's a one off piece and you're the only person in the world that has it. Love the colours. Well done again x
Tracey that's beautiful! You're going to get so many compliments when you use this bowl. Don't mess with this anymore! It's perfect the way it is! You're worrying way to much about how it turned out. The cells are amazing. 😍 They add to the stone like appearance of the bowl. 💗😍🌹
Hi Tracey I think it looks great , it doesn't matter that it's not what you thought it was going to be, it's the end look, great abstract piece 😍 thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
I think the colors make a great uneven pattern in the bowl! I like stuff like that, because its so much to look at! And the silver made something really interesting! Like it! 🥰We'll done Tracy
It's gorgeous and totally unique! I love the floating silver and those flashes of red. It may not have turned out quite the way you had hoped, but I think it's lovely just the way it is.
I really like this. When I started quilt making , I remember reading somewhere that a really great quilt keeps the eye moving across the colours / patterns and this bowl does exactly that - so many areas of interest and nothing jarring to ‘snag’ on. Fiddle faddling is definitely a thing. I do a lot of it!!
@@miniscenesgb Who knew? I had to look it up and it's a flavoured popcorn with peanuts. I then got lost down the word origin rabbit hole - send help!!! Thanks again
Love that copper red color too much,Ms Tracey All the other colors and glitters too are awesome 💜 and although giving it a shape was a bit difficult, but you did it so well and through this video, another hack for giving shape to resin bowl is unveiled 😍. Thank you once again for sharing this wonderful creation video,Ms Tracey 💜🤩
Wow that did turn out very different from what i was expecting. I shouldnt worry about if its symetrical or what ever . Its an original and well everything
I made my own leveling table with 10mm mdf and furniture leveling feet. I have a large silicone mat to cover it. You can make it to whatever size you need. I find it very useful and can do multiple projects all at once. Loving the bowls ❤
Looks great! This project is on my bucket list for my resin experiments, just need to wait till I have the right mold and the courage to try it! As for a levelling table, I have a large marble bread board for a work surface and bought some plastic toilet shims from Amazon. Add and adjust the shims to the work area where needed using a level and for $10 you have a level table. Easy peasy😊
I think I like this even more than the blue one, and it was gorgeous, too. I would personally rather aim for asymmetry in something like this, since I could never get it symmetrical anyways. I really like the contrast of the dark grey and the coppery red, it's very volcano-esque. Btw, could you maybe put a larger board on top of the leveling table for larger projects? (I only have a diy leveling table, and that is probably what I'd do - I'm always on a budget.
Oh, so much resin. I just can't get the nerves up to try something so big. Any idea of how much resin you used? I know, numbers. Maybe I will try a smaller bowl at first. I love the colors and the shape is great. 😊
Much smaller bowl with weight inside the centre of the bigger bowl might have given you those original dramatic folds you were struggling with. Mighy have needed to be a bit more pliable? Unsure. I've never made one. They are beautiful but daunting. Looks amazing either way.
If you don't want that bowl, I definitely do, I love it. Colours used would not have been my choice, but, oh, when the resin has done it's thing, those colours are great. I much prefer to shape my bowls on the outside of a dish, rather than on the inside, too much like hard work. However, I am guessing, the larger the molding bowl the easier it would be to mold on the inside............ Currently looking for a 10 foot ball 🤣🤣🤣
Hi , I’m a new sub , I saw your Xmas in July and loved the idea of doing collabs ! I’m in the NE of the UK and don’t know anyone else really in the UK but I love Julie from Pouring Your Heart Out and a few others ! lol Absolutely love this bowl and the fluidity of the design , is the floating silver the same as the marbling silver or is it a different product altogether ? I’m busy watching all your videos so I can catch up lol ❤❤ Louise from County Durham, ps I’m just starting my channel on RU-vid too but am struggling with some of the tech side of things ! ❤
Hiya! I don't know of marbling silver so I don't know the answer to that I'm afraid sorry. Good to hear you're thinking of starting a channel. We have a group on Discord for crafty RU-vidrs, mostly newer channels, where we hang out and support each other, share knowledge too. If you fancy joining, it's free of course. Between us we can probably help with your tek questions. Drop me an email at miniscenesgb@gmail.com and I'll send you an invite. There's a few Brits in the group :)
it's fine as a fruit bowl, just not for eating directly from, like having soup in or anything like that, that's what we'll be using it for. and also just for stashing things in - I'll be making a small one for our car keys. Largely - decorative use
@@miniscenesgb when you were struggling to form the bowl inside the bowl I just didn’t wait long enough for you to try forming it on the outside of the bowl lol. I knew it was going to be a beautiful piece and I was just impatient to see the finished project. My bad for not waiting.🤭
No to completely different brand. Apex is from Just4YouOnlineUK and made in the UK, Let's Resin is a firm based in Hong Kong where I bellieve their products are made. Another well known brand, I use a lot of their stuff other than Epoxy too
