I saw you did Ancestry DNA and 23 and me. Which one do you like the best?

23 and Me was more accessible and easier to use as a site!

@izzysasmr7239 I did Ancestry too. Did the free trial and found alot of my family in those two weeks. Now I have to pay a monthly membership if I want to research and find more. I hope 23 and me don't do this. 23 and me I'm going to do next and get the book once I get my results and that'll be the last DNA kit I buy.

Did you get this book after you sent your kit in and got your Ancestry Results? How much was it? Is it worth getting? I know the results can change as they update things.

Yes, I got it after my results came in. I don't remember the price as it has been years but I definitely think it is worth it. The results have changed but by a very small amount and there is a lot in the book rather than just your ethnic background,

@izzysasmr7239 I checked, and the price is $40 now. I want to get a 23 and me kit, it's just expensive right now, so I'm going to wait until it goes on sale. We're your results accurate? We're you happy with the ancestry test? I do like the book, I'll probably get it after my results come in and it's a nice keepsake to have for many years. I'm glad that the book is more than just your ethnic background.

Yes! I had my father and grandmother take the tests as well. We learned so much and I think everyone should do one!

@izzysasmr7239 I'm glad you all had a good experience with 23 and me. I plan on getting the Ancestry kit and seeing what my results are and getting the book as well. Have you done Ancestry? They have their tests on sale now for $39. I did that first, but I want to do this one as well and compare the two.
