The Seven Year Slip and The Dead Romantics are high on my list for 2024 along with all of Holly Jacksons books. Love the variety of genres and the books you've chosen for 2024 💚

I loved reading Anxious People! I enjoyed all the characters and their personalities. ( I laughed quite a bit while reading it) I'm excited to read Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez!

ONE DARK WINDOW: was a 5⭐️ for me! Loved loved loved this book and Two Twisted Crowns! I actually don’t usually read a “series” back to back bc I’m a mood reader and need to switch genres BUT that one was written so beautifully that I went straight into the 2nd book! Super excited to see more from Rachel Gillig

Also, this book was a bit more creepy for me, BUT the way it was written was just so beautiful it had me in a chokehold! I’m new to reading (like my one year anniversary will be at the end of April 2024🎉)

@@SarahsCozyCorner yes! It’s so different but again the writing is just so beautiful to me! I almost got lost in how beautifully written it was! I liked it so much that I went to look at the authors backlist and those are the only two books I could find that Rachel Gillio has published! Correct me if I’m wrong though bc I would love to read more of her work! Also, excited to hear your thoughts on it 🥰

Im so excited for you to read Vicious!! I read in February and its a 6⭐ read for me. the plot is so interesting and original and THERE IS NO ROMANCE PLOT (which I found very refreshing). I hope you enjoy it☺️❤️

I’m so excited to read it!! I really adored V.E Schwabs writing so I’m sure I will love this one! The concept is so clever!! Omg yay no romance plot sounds SO refreshing!! Books don’t need to have romance to be phenomenal 🙏❤️

@@SarahsCozyCorner Yes. I really want to read The Cruel Prince trilogy, hubby got me the boxed set. I also want to read the Stalking Jack the Ripper series. I finished Castles in Their Bones and Stardust in Their Veins, and I'm waiting on the last book, coming out this year! ❤️📚🤗

Yours Truly was so cute and I loved it so much, it is a second in a duo Part of Your World is the first one. They do cross a little but not crazy amounts but it makes more sense reading them together if you haven't read the first one. Also enjoyed Icebreaker and so can't wait for the 3rd book to come out in June.

@@SarahsCozyCornerOf course sometimes it's hard to know which books are part of a series or not now. I would read part of your world first because they both all show up in both books of course it's not crazy but it's nice knowing who everyone is and watching them all together.

Is there a book you would recommend for fantasy beginners? I’ve never understood the hype or gotten into the fantasy genre, but with the rise of book-tok and book-tube I’ve seen SO many people talking about it. However, I don’t think I should start reading a series to set off my “reading journey.” What do you think?

Oooo girl definitely dabble into the fantasy romance genre! It’s SO good! Once you start you can’t go back 🤣 I would recommend starting with Powerless by Lauren Roberts! It has everything a fantasy romance should have! And ATM only the first book of the series is out so it’s not an intimidating big series to start! If you end up liking the first book then read the second one when it comes out!! Otherwise ACOTAR is always the gateway series into fantasy romance 🥰

Ahhhh I’m reading KEEPING 13 right now!!! I love it…and you’re right, it’s a long book! I read (or try to) at least 50 pages a day or 5 chapters whichever one works for me that day…maybe you could try that with a book that’s long and you want to get to 🫶🏼

@@SarahsCozyCorner so you know the cliff hanger B13 leaves you on? Well, in K13 it definitely gets better but still a lot of “fluff” that doesn’t need to be there however it’s not so bad that it’s painful to read if that makes sense 😂 I’m on Chapter 30 right now of K13 & I’m a boy mom so I think it’s ch.22 that I was literally talking to the book verbally and high fiving Johnny’s mom! It was an EPIC chapter for me 😇🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Loved that chapter so much! But Shannon & Johnny’s story has really developed up to this point (ch.30) and I’m eating it up! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!!! 🫶🏼
