Children Of Fallen Gods, which is the second book in the War Of Lost Hearts trilogy was one of my favorite books of 2023 so far. The plot gets even better and it introduces to us new amazing characters. I think u should try continue with the series, it's worth it.

Omg the War of Lost Hearts series is my top favorite this year, I rated all either 4 or 5. The second book introduces another character's POV and it's also the book that gets more into the real plot AND reveals the main villain in the series. The antagonists in the next 2 books are so complex and sad, it is so beautiful! I suggest at least trying the next book, Aefe is one of my favorite characters I've read recently

After several years of thinking that it looked like something I would enjoy, I bought the entire Natural History of Dragons series from Book Depository before they closed. The series is now on my TBR and I hope to make a start on it soon. It’s reassuring to hear you enjoyed the first book so much. It is winter in my part of the world, and perfect weather for spending my weekend reading (rather than adulting and cleaning my house!) so I can see reading A Natural History of Dragons happening some time soon!

I love the Memoirs of lady Trent. It’s such a good series. The next few books in my opinion just get better. Especially the third one. That’s my favorite. It’s a five book main series btw with a sixth spin off book. I’m so excited to see what you think of the next few lol. I always recommend it to people who liked Emily Wildes encyclopedia of fairies.

If you want a cozy action fantasy with that historical feeling and it's about dragons, Dragon Seer by Janet McNaughton is amazing. It might be a bit slow paced at times but it's worth it. I think it kind of falls under historical fiction as a genre but there is so much mystery in the history of the people and places of this book which just adds another layer of intrigue to the book.

I loved this cozy vlog! It makes me excited to read this weekend! Usually, I would watch your videos sooner but I recently started a new job and have been really busy but I am glad I got to watch this after my shift today! I’ll have to check out “The Natural History of Dragons”, it sounds so good!

It’s so funny how everyone has different reactions towards books! My emotions were swapped when it comes to daughter of no world vs. Emily Wilde… Daughter of no worlds felt so interesting to me and I absolutely loved the plot, character, romance, everything. Vs Emily Wilde I wanted to love so badly but I was honestly kinda bored the whole time and didn’t really connect with the characters. I think I’ll still give the second book a shot when it comes out because it was like a 3 ⭐️ for me.

I had 'A Natural History of Dragons' in my hands the other day in the bookstore. I was definitely interested in it but wasn't sure enough to buy it. However, I do own 'Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries' and was planning to start reading it. Since you compared the two books, I will definitely give 'A Natural History of Dragons' a try if I like/love the other book.

I felt the exact same way about daughter of no worlds - I was really disappointed :( I liked all the ideas she had going on and i love max so much but it just really dragged towards the end and the second book has actually put me in a reading slump rn 😭

I have A Natural History of Dragons A Memoir By Lady Trent on my tbr as well as A Tropic of Serpents #2 and it is a 5 book series I needed to double check for myself. I am excited to hear that you liked it and can't wait to start reading the series as well. Slowly started reading the Veronica Speedwell series and hoping to check off some of my books on tbr this month. Happy reading and as always a nice cozy vlog. ^_^

i read Daughter of No Worlds a few days ago and dnf‘ed it after 50% because i felt exactly the same. It‘s not a bad book and there are interesting aspects, but i wasn‘t invested in any of it😕

I wasn’t a huge fan of serpent and the wings of night, but I loooved slaying the vampire conquerer and her novella, six scorched roses. To me the writing is just unnecessarily long and maybe it needs to be edited down? I’m not sure how to explain but I don’t think I’ll be picking that series up since you didn’t enjoy it now…

its not that i didn’t like „daughter of no worlds“ but at some point it got boring and i just never picked book 2 so i have mixed feelings about it
