Ive herd that you retain more benefits from ground flax seeds over whole. Whole flax seeds are harder for your body to digest and unless you really chew them they will likely pass through your digestive system the same way they came in. Just a little tip :)
I’m so glad I found you video. I’ve been curious and asking around about using this method but haven’t really come across anyone who’s done it or been successful. Most of the blogs and mommy communities say just to double pump with electric but honestly I feel like I didn’t get much with my last baby. Definitely gonna try this the next time around
I am happy you found it! I honestly discovered it by fluke. I didn't realize my other port on my pump was closed off for the first couple weeks. When I realized I could double pump, the suction wasn't nearly the same of course and it took longer so I just stuck to Hakka on one side and pump on the other! Best of luck for you next time around!!
I use the electric on one side and the Hakka on the other. When the electric side is empty I set the Hakka aside and switch to the other side. There's more power when you close off one of the ports (for double pumps) and I usually get done sooner than if I had double electric pumped at the same time. I alternate which side I start with the electric each session like if you were nursing, however I'm not sure if it makes a difference.
Oh gosh! I can't remember exactly now and certainly just went along with it. I was probably pumping every 2-3 hours during the day and 3-4 hours through the night. I'm a stay at home mom that spends quite a bit of time at home so I was able to pump pretty often. If we left the house I would get lazy about it and I would go longer stretches.
Puming is soooo much harder than nursing, i nurse my son every single time whenever hes hungry i put him on breast, otherwise pupming is sooo time consuming like sit and pump and wash so many bottles/pumps..
