I grew up in Kingston and one time when my friend (from the UK) was visitng on her round the world trip we stopped at the big apple on the way to toronto. She was really weirded out cause she'd just been to a big pineapple restaurant in Australia. Apparently theres a whole array of international big fruit roadside eateries. I hope to one day visit them all.

Toronto and Ottawa might be nice, but whenever I hear "Ontario" i think Thessalon, Blind River, Wawa; Agawa Canyon and the Algoma Central Railroad...and to a lesser extent, Windsor. I am from Michigan, but always loved getting to visit Canada. My Dad's family, in fact, farmed in the area around London, Ontario, before coming over to settle outside of Detroit.

+gunnarolla Ah too bad! It's been a long time sing I visited the big apple, but I remember a display about bees and pollination, which included clear tubing that bees flew through from the outside. I think there was a hive behind the plastic too so you could observing them living their bee lives. The other building had a restaurant with amazing apple pie.

That boat segregation...sketch... Also that apple is terrifying. I still have yet to go on a helicopter, I'm p. sure I'd get motion sick, but man you've been going on so many lately with such stupendous views I'm like...I should give it a go. But motion sickness. :
