I remember being on the beach at Newborough Forest in the Heatwave of 1976. The sand was too hot to walk on. Burnt the soles of my feet and got bitten by a horsefly. We holidayed in Anglesey ever year from 5 years old to 16 years old. And I've been back so many times. My Auntie lived in Moelfre and her ex, my uncle lived in Benllech. Always had some great days
Hi my late dad used to live in Benllech Bay, and I spent many happy times on the beach there with my dog, my dad used to say its great driving in Anglesey because it's only about 25 miles across so you can't get lost, and if you go too far you fall off the edge, I miss those days, he's been gone for about fourteen years now, loved this vlog, it brought back memories xxx
Brilliant ! Thanks Robbie. Having been brought up in N Wales I thought I knew Anglesey quite well but your video uncovered a few places I had no knowledge of and hadn’t visited. So, thanks ! Enjoying reading your NC500 book.
Just watched this for the second time, Robbie. Even better watch this time. Love the channel very easy listening.I haven't been to Anglesey since i was a kid, so a trip in the campervan is on the list of places to visit very soon .Reaching Wales is in easy reach from the Midlands and Warwickshire. I'm not sure why I haven't done it before 😮 The guide books look very cool they look very well produced.
Robbie we a Welsh couple living in Australia,we were born in Newport South Wales. We come home every year to visit family. The last 3 times we have com home for the first 4 weeks we stay in a different place and explore places we used to visit when we lived there. This year Sept,Oct we are going to North Wales first for 4 weeks, and seeing your videos have given us some great insight to places we want to visit.Thank you thank you thank you.Chris and Lyn
Hello Robbie, Jaz and dogs. Wr have just whatched your welsh coast 400. Really enjoyed it. You've inspired us to visit to some places. You asked us to mention some of fave places. Our are Llyn peninsula north wales. From Nefyn down to Abersoch. Inclusive of morfa nefyn, aberdaron, hells mouth (3 miles long) and plenty more in thay area. We don't have a camper van yet but we do have a border collie so we are nearly there..lol. ypu do all simular things we like. Exploring, walking g, eating nice foods and a good cold pint. We are going to buy your NC500 book too. Keep posting videos. Hope Jaz is well. We are from Buxton in Derbyshire. We are both 55 and Charlie the dog is 13. We walked Watkins path snowdon when we got married. Happy travels. 😊 Anita and Steve.
Holly head. Tray arder beach, Traeth (tri th) means beach in Welsh, I can't spell Benllech in English as it has double L and CH which is too hard to explain! Glad you went to Newborough beach - that is just the pinnacle of Ynys Mon for me - natural beauty beyond what you'd expect
Great video the dogs enjoyed it I go to Anglesey at 6 times a year and stay for 5 days at a time with my little staffie dog who is 15yrs old keep the videos coming many thanks Richard😊
Great movie we love Wales! Should be back there in a month as currently travelling Portugal thank you for sharing we have subscribed to show our support 🙂
Stumbled across you a week ago whilst looking for the NC500 which you have fabulous videos and information. A massive thanks been watching your other travel videos well done you for all the information from different travel destinations.
I love llandwyn island. Stunning place. I 1st dropped on it as it was used for a ewan mcgregor film that was portrayed to be filmed in the scottish islands. Seeing as you asked the question i personally prefere the hour long vids. I can sit back and relax watching them. Just my personal preference to be honest. That's not taking anything away from your shoter videos
Planning on heading to Anglesey from Llangollen in March, staying the night and then heading off to Llanberis. Hoping to get to Benllech Beach, South Stack Lighthouse and Llanddwyn Island.
Just watching your video 😂and as a English person living in Wales can I tell you ‘Traeth’ means Beach in Welsh 😂 locals have a wicked time giving people directions to Traeth Beach 😂 great vid by the way
Really enjoyed your video. We are lucky enough to live on Anglesey, moved here a year ago and absolutely love it. Check out Aberffraw beach and Traeth y Ora (near Lligwy) on your next visit, both stunning.
The welsh language is really confusing 😂 I am currently living in south wales not many people around here speak welsh only the odd few But I am learning welsh on duo lingo etc And we have had so many people pronounce words and it sounds so funny So leading the alphabet is good! ❤
I live in Wales Aberystwyth my son lives in aberearon .I lived not far from ynyslas in Borth. Was disappointed you didn't film ynaslas wish you would go to cafes & into towns etc .did enjoy it though we have vw camper .❤
Thanks for watching. I did film Ynyslas 👍 The drone shots etc when we parked there. We visited many cafes and towns but I didn’t always record (nice to put the camera down especially in busy places).
Hi Rob Planning a trip to Anglesey in June myself husband Dog tonnage Son . Need a camp site near a beach and a pub any ideas . It’s our first Road trip in our Van . I’ve seen lots of camp sites but a bit overwhelmed at the choice . Thank you any suggestions welcome
as I wrote before to you .....May 23rd I will be in Wales with 5 dogs .....I see your dogs on the leash...are there places where they also could walk freely? I would be hard for me to have 5 dogs...mine are between 20 and 35 kg ...all the time on my belt on the leash ....
