Isle Of Anglesey clockwise coastal trip visiting Menai, Llanddwyn, Cribinau, South Stack, Cemaes, Amlwch Port, Moelfre, Red Wharf Bay, Penmon and others
Excellent portrayal, this is a stunning island. A rare compliment from me: a massive thank you to my other half who introduced me to Anglesey in the 1980's.
I am fortunate enough to live on Anglesey after moving here from Northern England in the early 1990's and the way you have captured so much of the islands beauty and charm in the one video is truly something Stephen. The level of your video production is truly brilliant as you excel in every area of this to the extent that I had to come onto this comments section to praise you and your work. I have seen many other very good videos of the island and it's highlights but none compare to this video in my opinion. Your camerawork and editing kept me gripped and absorbed from start to finish. Thank you for this and I sincerely wish you all the very best for the future.
Im watching this on the other side of the Atlantic ocean in the West indies. Im from North Wales and I learned to sail around Anglesey...I was watching your video and feeling quite homesick ...then at 12 '45 the guy who taught me almost all I know about sailing is walking up Moelfre hill with his wife !!!! Amazing ..!!! you made my day ,thanks for your beautiful film !!!!
Thanks for your comment, it’s a lovely spot! Maybe not always as warm as the West Indies! I have a video on North Wales on my channel, should you wish to view, Steve
Hi, we visited Anglesey on Wednesday and taking inspiration from your video went to a number of the places you referenced. We certainly packed a lot onto 7 hours but it was perfect. Thanks
I've lived on Anglesey all my life (60 years),When the weathers nice our coastline is beautiful, My fave place is Llanddwyn island & I've actually stayed in the cottages a few times as my mate was one of the seasonal wardens :)
Keep it quiet-Take a look at Cemlyn bay near Cemaes-A great bird sanctuary and place to spot seals bobbing about-Just sit quietly along the headland and they will peer at you curiously.
What a beautiful calming video of one of our favourite places ....We only live a little further along the mainland but miss our trips over so much , can't wait until we are allowed to travel once again .
I really enjoyed your video Stephen, you have a wonderful eye for an image and with your narration it all flows together so well. I have subscribed and I look forward to watching more of your films. Well done 👍
Thank you for your kind comments, pleased you enjoyed it, I am currently working on a project on Staithes in North Yorkshire with more in the pipeline, Regards Steve
I love Anglesey, so many memories as a kid with my parents, i took ours there and stayed in Amlwch...Beautiful , seal and dolphins in the bay.... Please do in interior tour as also a lot to see
Hi Stephen, thank you for this video, it’s really interesting an plenty of information, well impressed 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I’m visiting again in March 23, mainly for wildlife photography but some landscape will be carried out too.
I remember reading a mid-eighteenth century account of a traveler going to the priory for the miraculous water. She noted that there were wolves on Anglesey at that time.
Great video and narration, a stunningly beautiful place, we go every year and are already looking forward to our next visit and this will help with the wait. Thank you.
Special place is Anglesey. Newborough warren is quite something. Llandwyn island is a magic locale. One warning though. Don't go diving straight into the water at the cottages beach even on the hottest sunniest August day. The water is icy!
I hope to get over there for a few days at some stage? We're always bypassing it on the way to visit my wife's sister in Yorkshire and never have time to explore We take the ferry from Dublin port 🚢👍 Great video bye the way!
As someone that has delivered to the Ferry Port but straight down the main road and back, this was so interesting to see the coastline. Loved the south side, much like south Cornwall in parts and same Birds and insects. Hope the Welsh make great efforts not to allow any English development. Cornwall County Council have already allowed Cornwall to become destroyed! Do not make the same mistakes.
@@StephenTurner240 Assuming you mean The Creek, if there's more than two of you, you'll have to take it in turns to sunbathe. I used to swim there when I was a kid...
Hi Jac, thanks for your comment, it is indeed a lovely place. If you subscribe to my channel there is more that may be of interest to you, Regards Steve
Hi Steve, yes already subscribed as very interested in your other vids too. Great photography and lovely narration. Looking forward to binge watching them 😀
@@StephenTurner240 just seen your Hastings etc trip, so enjoyable to watch. Really looking forward to seeing your new projects and continuing to go through the rest of your videos. So lovely to find a vlog with such interest and excellent filming and narration. Best Wishes
Fantastic video!!! We are visiting Anglesey in 2 weeks and your video is very helpful. Is it possible to visit these spots in one day? Thanks for advice
I think you would have to have a very long day, and not really be able to do the places justice. I always like to plan a return visit! Glad you like the video and enjoy your visit.
Lovely video of the Island I have been and bred on,fantastic camera work.I will give you 8 out of ten on pronounciation of the Welsh names .Pity you didn't give llanfair pg a go 😂 Moellfre is pronounced "moelvre" our "f" is pronounced as the " v" in English Amlwch is not Amlwck , the "ch" is the same as in loch ness.😁 Just pulling on you ,more of the same I look forward.👍 subscribed.
Hi Terry, I'm pleased you liked my efforts. This is only the second video where I've had a go at adding a voice over. The welsh language and names were a bit daunting to a mere Lincolnshire lad. Having been to Wales many times we love the country and people, its great that your native language is still being used.
Wow. Just blown away by this video and photos! Superb photography! May I kindly ask which camera you used for your stills? I’m guessing either Fuji or Sony mirrorless ? :-)
@@StephenTurner240 thanks Stephen. I’m busy deciding on my first camera in 30 years :-). Soooo much to choose from. I’m trying to stay away from Nikon DSLR. And trying to go mirror less. Quite pricey but images are far better. So far my budget is leaning towards Sony A6000 with perhaps a small lense and a 55-210. Which should get my going ok. I just started researching the Panasonic/Lumix G100. And that’s also impressive. Well. Carry on doing a superb job. We’re you a camera man in your professional career? Because you angles are outstanding!!!?
@@countbasingstoke Hi. I have been into photography for over 50 years and was involved in commercial photography for many years. From a camera point of view Lumix are more video centric than most, depends on your shooting. Incidentally the mobile and bleach close ups were shot with my gopro, great little cameras!
