Try blending the ice with evaporated milk po. Para mas fine and crushed yung ice then topped niyo na lang ng corn and corn flakes and condensed milk. Hope it helps po☺️
I really love how sylvia and Jessica Loves the Philippine culture 😭😭🥰 I've been watching Sylvia's videos since she started her career here. I love how she found the perfect people that are also have the same personality and likes with her 🥰🥰. hoping to see more videos from these trio!!!🤩🤩
I ended watching just moys blogs didn't realize shine kuk wasn't Jessica. The tip off is shine speaks very fluent tagalog.now the big question is shine kuk the same person son ming the 2018 miss Korea?
I stan you three! Habang nanonood ako sainyo tawa lang ako ng tawa! You three, really have the best combination. Especially Moy, eventhough she's not a Korean, she can cope up easily with Jessica and Sylvia. Hindi pa rin nawawala sakanya ang pagiging Filipina, she's the example of being 'sabog na kaibigan'. While Sylvia, she willingly try Filipino Local Foods and eventhough hindi pa sya nakakapunta sa Pilipinas, she doesn't feel/look awkward while they're talking about Philippines. And Jessica, I'm glad that she appreciated Filipino Cultures so much to the point eventhough she's in Korea right now, she makes her Vlogs all about Filipino Foods and Cultures.❤ I salute you three! Sana ipagpatuloy niyo pa ang pag-gawa ng maraming videos na magkakasama kayong tatlo.😊❤
Laugh trip 😂😂😂😂There’s one more person @Shinekuk paniguradong bubusugin tayo sa kabag hahahhaha ... pag yang apat na yan mag sasama 3 korean and 1 filipino 😂
I can literally relate to not having rice, is not a complete meal for me..... Asian always eat with rice, I feel lethargic without eating rice for a few days, can't survive just potatoes and breads with meats alone 😊....... American and European always eat with bread, bake potatoes, mashed potatoes, corn, green salads and fried potatoes with their meats, T-bone, piletmegnon, prime rib etc..." seldom having soups". But Asian countries is literally unique because we have a lot of variety of recipes from different islanders in the Pacific Ocean.... You 3 ladies are literally beautiful in each own individual personality.... thank you for sharing this beautiful video. 😍👌🇺🇸
The eggplant should be charred until dark without skipping and turning until you achieve that on the area. Then while it is hot, you skin it by having a bowl of water on the side to cool your fingers (for finger dipping) and prevent burning. Actually tortang talong can be seasoned a bit with fish sauce before eating to add a salty taste. Anyway, you cooked well!
HI JESS :) NEXT TIME YOU MAKE MAIS CON YRLO YOU SHOULD ALSO GET THE CAN OF "CREAM OF CORN" THATS THE KEY TO MAKE MAIS CON YRLO TASTE MORE LIKE MAIS. INGREDIENTS* CORN KERNELS, CREAM OF CORN, EVAPORATED MILK, ICE. NO NEED FOR CONDENSED MILK BC THE CREAM OF CORN IS ALREADY SWEET BUT YOU CAN ADD CONDENSED MILK IF YOU PREFER IT TO BE MORE SWEET. 🌽❤️
Jessica lowkey promoting local foods and products, but now one gets her as endorser. MAGIC SARAP BAKA NAMAN LUCKY ME PANCIT CANTON BAKA NAMAN ARGENTINA BAKA NAMAN ALASKA BAKA NAMAN HAHAHAHAHA
I think Moy standing up is just part of her bubbly humour.. like when you talk about something that she will not be able to relate.. its like, okay "I'm outta here" but it wasn't serious at all.. its a very common thing here in PH.. when you feel out of place all of a sudden you just take the initiative to get yourself out of there but it was a joke, its also a way of saying, hey guys you know I'm here right?.. but in that situation, when Sylvia said koreans don't like eggplants, Moy stands up, as if saying, "ok im not korean, I don't belong" but since you guys didn't get it, Moy tells she's checking if there's garlic rice as an excuse instead of explaining why.. well, that was just my guess, maybe she's just actually checking out if there's rice, but that humor is real here..its not offending though, just for fun, more like "include me!😅" Please have it confirm with Moy..😃
Please try to cook leftover rice for the sinangag. I minced the garlic. Then cook the garlic in low heat until the color is brown. Then mix the leftover rice and a small dash of salt.
I dont know if someone shared this already but when crushing ice with a blender, you can put a little evap in it!! The blender always needs some liquid to get it started, and you’ll be using evap anyway so it will be fine! :)
Mais con yelo is very different from binatog Binatog is white corn cook in coconut milk for hours and then eaten with sugar or a little pinch of salt and grated young coconut as an option Mais con yelo - you can buy canned whole kernel corn then just remove it from syrup then just add shaved ice and evaporated milk and it's a refreshment 😋😘 So sad Moy seems didn't know about this since she came from Pampanga which is the culinary capital of Luzon 🤔🙄😁
Jessica is really one of a kind! She is I think the youngest but really knows how to do things like her ates 🥰 Happy to see the other side of her being so bubbly and just having fun!
I prefer to grilled the eggplant too it's more delicious when you cook tortang talong that way. The boiled one though is not messy when you peel. I also put some grind meat pork with potatoes (the same as corn beef) at the top of tortang talong and put some catsup. Without meat tortang talong I do eat it with vinegar sauce with red onions, salt&pepper
Grabe sobrang laughrip ng asmr and specially the making of mais con yelo it was like super challenging to crashed the ice and the enjoying moment was the yelo inside the plastic bag and sylvia was hitting the ice on the wall and also on the floor then jessica has a scissor trying to crash the ice too but in the end of the moment the mais con yelo turns into Mais con YELO because it didn't totally turns into crashed ice but a mince ice but i think it is totally delicious because jessica manages to put a lot of condensed milk to make mais con yelo sweetener. 👌🧊🌽 Thank you lee seul! for having a very interesting content and i hope you continue doing a lot of videos that relates filipino cultures wish you all the success and always take care of yourself. God bless to you and your family! 🙏 I LOVE JESYLMOY! ❤️
binatog is an age long street food, it it is sold by vendors on a bike.. decades a go you can buy it in the streets of manila, but now maybe you will see it in the provinces... also, you need to use the local corn and not the sweet corn ones.. the local corns are sticky and white when cooked, then add grated ccconut meat...
My garlic rice doesnt need magic sarap.. i put salt and bitsin in it the more traditional way... Sometime i try to experiment on it. Sometime i put eggs in it.. cut eggs.. and sometimes i put noodle powder in it.. or maybe bits of hotdogs.. in phillipines we just experiment in our food.. and in our taste.. we like cooking. Very much.. boys and girls cook.. we both now how to cook.. but others dont like cooking.. cooking can be pracrticed just watch youtube or read books.. Yeah.. by the way your cooking looks yummy.. :)
This is so precious! You three are so fun together. Also when Moy said she didn’t feel homesickness is so adorable. JesSylMoy is definitely the best collab ever!
if you want to have a fine crushed ice all you need to have is a clean cloth, like towel, tshirt any aslong its clean and you need is a Hammer .. place the ice on the cloth twist it o seal the ice then hammer it ..its just all.fine crushed ice...Jessica when she smile and her eyes it makes me😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
the way moy hold the knife when she opening the can was so brave .. 🤣🤣🤣 while jessica eonni and sylvia eonni is staying away from her .. looking so scared .. 😳😳🤣🤣🤣 .. that is the true skill of filipinos .. hehe #JesSylMoy ❤️❤️❤️
Hello, Jessica! I don't know if you'll be able to see this. But are you accepting requests? I want to suggest a reaction video of Leaves by Ben&Ben (Filipino band) ft. Young K of DAY6 (South Korean band). And also, maybe, introduce us to kbands and their similarities to opm bands, as well as, why they are not as mainstream as kpop dance groups? I think it's an interesting topic that I myself do not know much about (because I don't know where to look for facts about bands) but I love DAY6 as much as I love opm bands. Thank you~
The corned beef will be less salty if you add fresh tomatoes when you sautee your garlic and onions. Or try to get one with less salt, if available where you live.
That's why you cant judge it by just tasting it once or 10x. Different restaurant, different taste also. Even moy has different ways of cooking filipino food even she's filipino. That's why filipino foods are very unique cause you cant just put it in the book and defines itt accurately cause it constantly changing depends on the person cooking unlike korean foods that has the same taste. Kimchi has one taste, bulgogi too etc. But my father's adobo is different from moy's father adobo even garlic rice can taste different too
The boiled mais con yelo is just so hilarious to me😂 my brain can't comprehend. Also, moy's humor just. . . O may ghad it's. . . THEY'RE THE PREFECT TRIO EVER!!!!
I’m here at US , I like what you are doing. I knew how you guys came to the Phil frm start. Coz I work at casino. You know what I mean. But I love you, specifically when you respect your elders. Hope I’ll see more abt how you love abt Phil.
When the corn flakes and evaporada is in th stove..im also shocked😅😅😅..like oh my god why are you doing that..thats not how to do mais con yelo(talking here like im infront of you guys and laughing 😂😂😂)...i really love your vlogs🥰🥰 ..im a filipina by the way.. I remember when i was wtih my friends too and trying to do some cooking for the first time..its really fun..
If you have leftover some corned beef, you can mix it with your garlic fried rice and put some egg and some mixed veggies like greeb peas, carrots, corn, and it tastes so good. That is what I always do with my leftover ulam. And Purefoods corned beef tastes way much better than Argentina.
Thank you for featuring filipino culture and cuisine, we support korean culture here in PH and its nice to see that koreans are doing the same. This kind of content showcase diversity in two fifferent cultures and really giving your viewers an indept understanding about culture kudos! Usually the meal you guys cooked is for breakfast but YES! It could be lunch and dinner too. On the otherhand you can try ketchup with tortang talong so keep it up girls and stay amazing!!! ❤️❤️
Korea and Philippines had this bond that is traced back when ph troops help South Korea battle communist. I saw the video about that. Koreans love Philippine culture and Filipinos also like Korean culture just like KPop
I tried cooking talong once that way, burning the eggplant directly on the stove. But Father saw me and scold me. I was confused and asked "Isn't that how you cook tortang talong?!?? And he was like" The flame it produces has chemical, you"ll be poisoned." So yeah that as the first time and probably the last time I'll cook that way HAHAHAHAHAHA. BUT IT IS YUMMY IF IT'S COOKED THAT WAY!
This has got to be my favorite collab of all TIME. All your personalities go so well with each other and over all have a wholesome vibe. Really made my day
Try d avocado with condensed milk and crashed ice!!! Cut the avocado in half take out the bone inside smashed the avocado 🥑🥑 then put the condensed and Ice more condensed more yummy!!!!
Why are they boiling the corn? It’s supposed to be straight from the can… crashed ice, then sugar/honey then milk. And it’s good to go. This trio is so cool.
I Miss Garlic Rice and Lapu-Lapu... That Garlic Rice and Corned Beef Looks Awesome!!! The corn Ice seems Like more work than it's worth!!! Love This Presentation!!!
It's easier to peel off the skin from the talong if you boil it. You can also try adding sauteed ground beef/pork for a fuller 'ulam'. I top mine with sliced kamatis on top when frying. :)
The crashed garlic is better than the direct sliced cause you can determine more aroma on it when frying, while grilled eggplant has more thick savory taste than the boiled one in terms of tortang talong.
Grabe na enjoy ko toh while eating up my dinner, you guys make me miss my friends with the way you guys bond! My fave youtube collab this yr for sure 😍
u can try putting some ground meat in the tortang talong, it goes very well also with tomato ketchup, in terms of corned beef i think the best brand in the philippines is purefoods, though argentina is also good. that mais con yelo is hilarious hahaha, the ice took over the mais
