Watch every other youtubers whom travel to the Philippines. Did not know this ferry existed till you show it. First time seeing this. All other youtubers took flight to Cebu. Awesome, you show a different form of transportation. Honestly, this look for relax and enjoyable than taking the airplane. The cafeteria food looked way better than the food you ate for business class lol.
I like the information you showed here. It kind of gives a glimpse of how it is when in a cruise ship. Of course in a real cruise ship, it is more luxurious. However 2GO is a transport vehicle with a specific point to point (P2P) concept. What is good with 2GO is these extra perks that makes your travel of 21H not boring. It is sufficient enough for people just to get an idea how traveling to this P2P vehicle is like with an extra glimpse of the activities one can find normally on a cruise. Kudos to this content. 👏🏼👍🏻👍🏻
You realise some Filipinos assume you are Pinoy too when they see you.Believe it or not, some Filipinos grew up in English speaking households, especially ones who went to exclusive private schools.
It’s Only 1 Pier in Manila I think as far as I Know it’s a Big PIER and LONG it’s in TONDO MANILA… THEY CALLED IT 2 GO MALIGAYA SOMETHING LIKE THAT….. ASK THE PINOYS SINCE THEY KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT MANILA 😂😅👍✌️
@@echraighi72 it is near divisoria market. You can even walk there if you are comfortable with the people around you. Alot of merchants from different islands go to manila via those ships. In that 24hr, they have their loads from divisoria/ taytay rizal and go directly back to the port (pier 2 and/or 4) then catch the ferry back to their respective islands edit: in a sense, the cargos coming to the philippines land near the same port. drop off their loads from hk, bnk, ch etc and distributed throughout divisoria. thats where the local merchants will go to . hope that make sense
Beautiful Cebu! Good choice! I’m from Philippines but haven’t been there yet but it’s one of the place I wish to visit one day, hopefully. Looking forward for your next updates. Hope you’ll enjoy a lot!
I have to agree Philippine LONGGANISA is really good. There are sooo many variations of this depending on which province you are visiting. The more popular are the Longganisa from the province of Ilocos, Pampanga, Quezon and Bulacan.
Very clean premises indeed. I wish I could climb those stairs though but unfortunately, my health cannot. Thanks for showing us the inner parts of the ferry.
12:12 now that your going to a different island if you wish to be more local...masarap in cebu will be Lami (pronounce as La-mee...lami ka-a-yow which means very tasty or delicious)...stay safe and have fun David...
Just a fun fact as seen on your thumbnail though. M.V. ( Motor Vessel ) 2GO Maligaya. Maligaya means Happy. Hope your happy and glad that you are here in our country. Ingat ( Be Safe ) Always and Enjoy 🙂
Nice! It’s been awhile I haven’t ride a huge ferry! It’s always fun 🤩 This one is super interesting, they don’t have those luxuries and stores inside the ferry long time ago.
wow. never expected to see a 2go ship. definitely doing things properly david. travelling on a plane is better, faster but you can only experience relaxation such as this on a ferry... the view is simply beautiful once youre out there. youd be surprised how many mid-upper class filipinos choose this way of travel around the islands from north to south. they roll on/off their vehicles inside those ferries and enjoy the voyage edit: livestock are normally fighting chickens. PH and VNM love their chicken lol yeaah ~ very smooth with mary bro
I don't think the noise and stress is worth it. Maybe that's why most people who have money to fly will only try that for experience. Just watching this is stressful, but I enjoyed the vlog.
Hi buddy, you're not far from my island and try to visit my province Negro's Oriental, Dumaguete. Every time I go back home for a month long holiday . I took the same boat that you were on. It did stop there. Stay safe and enjoy your stay in the visayas region.
@David Khai If you're there, you can go to the Red Twin Falls. Santa Monica Valencia, and there is a big swimming fall surrounded by nature. Manjuyod Sandbar, to mention a few. You can take a "CERES BUS" aircondioned at the bus terminal. This will take you to my town where I grew up. Sibulan, San Jose, Tanjay, Bais City, Manjuyod, Bindoy, Ayungon, Tayasan, Jimalalud, Guihulngan to Vallehermoso The scenery is breathtaking. Take care and be safe. You must enjoy your holiday in the Philippines. 99.9% of people there, they do understand English.
Amazing content. David. Incidentally, I just took this trip Manila to Cebu as well about a month ago, too. And after an hour or two of exploring the ship's decks that are open to passengers, I also got kinda bored and there's not much to do, but this isn't a "cruise" ship but a passenger ship with a "cruise-like" experience. I certainly would still recommend this to travelers, local or international alike, for those with an extra day to spare, and just enjoy the passing of the waters through the islands on the sundeck, ruminating over turquoise waters as the ship glides calmly of speeds around 90 knots. However, if you are the adrenaline junky, this might not be the best way for you to travel the islands. And the food is just average really, nothing like any cruise ship type of cuisine you might've have expected, since this model is one of their newest (if the the newest) and you'd think it would feel kinda like being on a cruise. I'd still highly recommend this, though. Great for introspection during your travels or journeys through our different islands. :) Was into your vid except the last part when you did not recommend it. But all good. ~ Awesome content, good luck on your journey.
Hi David have safe trip .. I’m suggests to see Lapu Lapu & Mactan The historical place eg Spanish Galleon as landed there ( if my history don’t failed me he he ) like Capt Cook in OZ .. in Lapu Lapu ( Fil warrior pre-Spanish invasion .. That place where the ceiling is exquisite.. medieval painting Hope that make sense, mate
That is my only concern in the Philippines it is always noisy and loud in thr malls , ferries and loud music in the market, houses especially videoke everywhere

I enjoy watching your videos sir, I hope you can visit also our land in Mindanao theres a lot more exciting and relaxing beaches over there like Siargao and other places.
That ship is not a cruise ship but just an ordinary ferry. This is the biggest ferry in the country that plies Manila-Cebu-CDO route, the busiest passenger shipping route.
I know that there are delays in uploading your videos. But where are you now? And how long will you be here in the Philippines? You should come here in Quezon Province and experience the local living. I'll host you. 😊
Enjoy your trip fren..and always be safe ...thanks alot that you are enjoying your stay here in the Philippines and thanks for promoting our country Philippines.
Im not sure if thats longganisa or hotdog lol😂😅the longganisa that i know is small and circle and its really delicious its caramelized try longganisa u wont regret it thats pinoys favorites for breakfast😋✌
They shoould have closed the karaoke area indoor to keep some silence around the vicinity, maybe the place to be is on the roof deck if someone wants some peace.
Hey David thanks for vlogging this. It's interesting and we would be interested to try this one but if the karaoke is non-stop I don't think my husband could handle the noise. He literally will quarantine himself in the room or stay out on the roof deck to avoid the noise.
Just like many large vessels they tend to ride out storms undocked and away from the pier during big storms. They will position the ships on the leeward side of the Philippines, e.g. Manila bay . The ships will rock ‘n’ roll and the crew might get queasy , but generally it’s no big deal.
The boarding , where there isn’t a covered walkway seems a bit rubbish . So it rains everyone presumably makes the entrance soaking wet , is that correct or am I wrong .
Hi David! Thank you for this content since I haven’t tried traveling via ship here in the Philippines🇵🇭 I hope to meet you when I get around different places starting this summer and I will be in Bohol this April. God bless your channel bro😉🫶💯

Greeting Mate, How old is this luxury ferry? You mentioned it $50.00, what's that includes. to experience this for 30 hrs out of your life , I think it's worth try then fly back. I don't know about the Kareoke though. How smooth is the ship when cruising and is the ship engine is noisy when trying to sleep? Thanks for vlogging this. BTW: Those dogs recognized you that you are not a Filipino.🙂
Hey mate! Not to sure on how old, but the interior of the ship was in pretty good condition (public toilets not the best though). $50 you get your own room, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ship was super smooth but wasn't that noisy for me anyways, I am an easy sleeper. They have a luxury suite which I hear is amazing, you're own shower etc... so maybe that one is worth the trip.
