Hi David...it has been 50 yrs...my MOM was from there, "Dalat" yet, she ALWAYS told stories about her town in DALAT...now that she's GONE due to COVID-19 . ❤ ...watching your video brought back GREAT memories... well DONE..Thank-you for SHARING your curiosity its a therapy to my HEART..! Definitely make it to crazy house(a must do) while you are in Da Lat. Also, the night market near the Big Lake is awesome. I ate dinner there every night.

They are a Civet (Cat is commonly added but not really a cat ) not weasels. Their coffee is supposed to be the best because they only select the best berries in the wild. Often you will hear the term Cat Poo Chino.

The weasels when they eat the coffee beans choose the non bitter ones, so in doing so the end product is generally not bitter at all as it’s been filtered out
