At first I thought so too, but now I guess that its a parallax (or whatever its called) of the flashlight. Within the camera frame the head torch moves top right and the "shadow figure" inversely mirrored to it to the bottom left

Being from the US I had very little knowledge or really knew anything about aboriginal cultures. Your series has sparked such an interest in the culture I’ve been non stop watching videos and reading about Oceania’s indigenous people. Since I started watching your videos a couple months ago I’ve started planning a long honeymoon trip to Australia to travel up and down the north coast and experience all these amazing things you’ve shown us. It abruptly disappears yes, but when we look at the trees at the high tide mark, where it runs behind the trees avoids to be seen and why it so quickly vanishes. Gives me the chills.. two other things are seen in the clips as well.. which nobody has nituced yet it looks like, Watch in low speed 0.25 to be able to pick up more details. The being has two legs, runs on two legs, like an ape.
😊 We're from North Queensland, Australia and spend a lot of time on our boat and at the Northern beaches. We really thought it was a person running away too, but then realised it was just a common nocturnal beach curlew, which was probably looking for fish scraps round the camp, you can just see it extending its wings as it glides away. It would have been large enough to activate the camera trap.
The Torres Strait is one of the most beautiful places in Australia. I worked there for 2 years. Visited Murray (Mer) Island many times. Also Sibai Island where the PNG folk would bring the best Mud Crabs to sell us every time we visited. ❤
Someone definitely ran away from the tent in the middle of the night. As soon as he came out from the tent when he thought he heard someone and the camera view changed from his camera to the farther view he previously set up that night you can totally see someone running away to the left of his tent. Ugh that gave me the chills...spooky
Love your work mate. As someone who grew up doing this sort of stuff in the seventies, eighties etc your vids bring back some great memories. Word of advice, no matter how good it feels to have your shirt off etc, wear one. Get your self a nice light baggy one as well as a hat. Believe me mate, when you get into your fifties you wont regret it. When you're using a spear wade out to about mid thigh depth n then move very slowly if at all. The fish will end up getting curious and come closer and spook less.

A family possibly, as one or two huge figures are seen at 39:10 when; he shines his torch so strong. Look to the right of the tent here because his light catches a massive hairy siluhette, bugger than him and much chunkier. Then there’s a small hunched over hairy thing siting on the left of his tent. Not very tall but hunched over though. The face and body moves.. the eyes moves as well... yikes. Goosebumps for sure,
near the end when you showed the footage of you outside the tent near the front i saw something couldn't make it out but it was moving inland from behind your tent

They wouldn't wash up on shore. My guess is he or his girl who stays on the boat offshore while he films probably seeds them on the island before the video
@@dualsportoutdoors why wouldn't they wash up? Fresh water is lighter than salt water. If a container of them spilled then thousands of them would have been released and it would be normal to have them spread out over 100s of milea

Jack when you came out of your tent, slowly walking towards the sea, there seemed to be a figure running away towards the viewers left from the front of the tent. Your night camera just caught it.

Strick, as you come out the tent a tall two legged animal leaves the other way on the other side of the tent, which is valid because the heat could have triggered the heat sensor when it was behind the tent

Definitely a spirit. Ain't no one else on that island walking around in the middle of the night. Also, the trail cam didn't catch anyone else on vid. If it was a turtle there's no way it would've been fast enough to get out of sight before you exited the tent to see what the footstep noise was
Devils island is very famous for its appearance in the movie, papillion. Its an incredible movie about a man imprisoned on devils island. Whats crazier is its based on a true story. Its not in Australia but would be a cool kind of survival documentary
Never sleep on the beaches of islands in crock country. I know someone who was nearly dragged into the water by a croc while sleeping on an outer island beach. He was lucky that it only grabbed the bottom of the sleeping bag and not his foot.
38:20 - Всё таки похоже это кто-то убегает от палатки. Многие пишут что это отражение, при этом не обращают внимания что объект, скорее всего человек, убегает от палатки и растворяется в темноте. При этом траектория перемещения объекта линейна, а не хаотична и не поворачивает налево следуя изгибу линзы, как это было бы, если то что все мы увидели действительно было бы отражением на линзе объектива, то есть обычным световым бликом. К тому-же световое отражение имело бы одинаковую светимость на всём отрезке перемещения по кадру, но мы видим эволюцию светимости, где объект сначала значительно светлее чем окружающая его темнота, но при этом отдаляясь от палатки постепенно растворяется в темноте теряя свою светимость, как это было бы с убегающим человеком который отражает свет фонарика, но не светится сам. А отражение имело бы абсолютно одинаковую светимость и вначале своего движения и в конце. Тем более наш выживальщик проснулся не просто так, а от шума который издавал некто посторонний. Покажите мне отражение на линзе объектива камеры для скрытой съёмки, которое издаёт звуки похожие на шаги и разжигает потухшие костры. 🤣😂 Поэтому суммировав совокупность фактов, можно сделать вывод что это 100% был человек. Может это был товарищ автора который его привёз и который решил убедиться что у него всё в порядке, но при этом что-бы не испортить проект, не хотел попасть в кадр?!? А может быть это был кто-то из фанатов автора, который следовал за их катером до места съëмок, а ночью подкрался к лагерю что-бы стащить какой нибудь сувенир на пямять. Любой из этих вариантов имеет право на существование. Но точно не версия с отражением в объективе. Смущает тот факт что автор утром не обнаружил лишние следы, что может говорить о том что он не стал про них говорить и что это всё таки был товарищ. 😏😉
Enjoyed the history of the area, maybe one day, you could rig your drone to your spear? Might work, the Māori are very strong peoples! The Doctors with out boarders would fly to remote areas, you could interview them? Or you could rent a Infra - red camera and help them find the answers to their story? That's quite a story!
I slowed down a section of the video from the 43:00 minute mark...... slowed it down on the settings to one quarter speed 0.25 ....not only was Strick's voice hilarious to listen to but at the 43:21 mark , there appeared to be an image captured running away from the left side of the tent , even at the slower speed , that object seemed to move pretty fast. Great Video Strick , glad you survived this one with only a little foot puncture.

Facts, guarantee most of these comments came before the end of the video. Otherwise they'd have realized that when he shows the clip again it is specifically the part where the apparition visible. They all leaving comments as if they are telling him something he doesn't know.
i think they should teach how to climb coconut trees at school. imagine getting stranded and having the good luck to find a bunch of coconut trees only to be unable to climb them and dehydrate as you try and keep falling, ultimately giving up.

Was your phone not password protected? Did they happen to steal it while it was unlocked? All of my banking apps still require more authentication either a fingerprint or password to login even if somebody did steal my phone. Just a little odd. I suppose it could happen somehow. I suppose if my phone was unlocked when it was stolen and they kept it open they could have used it to scan some of my cards to buy stuff. Although I do believe that does require fingerprint authorization as well at least in my case. Make sure you put all of the available security in place on your phones people.
at 10.26:03PM , as you exited the tent , some shape can be seen running to the left side behind your tent , don't think its from your headlamp , but you def had some company in an otherworldly visit .
OK when you go out of your tent, there is something going from behind it kind of I’m going off to the side. You can see it. It’s like kind of white and I don’t know what that could be, but it looked like it was running away and it disappeared pretty quickly, but you can very clearly see that it looked like a person or a human.
Hey Strick. When you are reviewing the video of the night when you woke up and came out to tent, did you not see the person running away from the tent on the opposite side ? When you look at the video just before you came out of the tent someone ran away on the opposite side
