24 Hours with 5 Kids: Getting Ready for Christmas! 

When I have kids I’m going to rewatch all the Ballinger family videos to learn how to be a parent. You guys have polite, kind, giving children that are all so intelligent and love to learn. That’s absolutely goals.

I love how the kids always share with eachother. But also it’s okay to just enjoy it for yourself and not always have to share! I hope that doesn’t sound mean I’m not trying to word it in that way at all!!! just want them to be able to enjoy their advent calendars!

Can I just say, it's incredible seeing Luke starting to understand his advent sticker calendar! If you compare day 1 to today's, he has really gotten it down!

I LOVE how invested Luke is with music! Please don’t stop putting him in music classes. I know he’s just one, but I see that being a huge part of his life, especially if he stays as interested as he seems to be now!

I think I had a Fisher Price Nativity scene when I was little too. Nice to see you guys have that too. A cute way to teach them about Christmas and why we celebrate it

i've never seen kids that actually want to share their treats with each other! and it's not like it's an after thought, it's the first thing they want to do!! love it! my mum uses cutical cream, well more like oil and she just puts a tiny bit on each finger. I don't have an advent this year so I love seeing the memories at the beginning!!

Omg, when Christopher asked Duncan if they had fun doing tiktoks and he said "probably", I melted 🥰

My kids have the same nativity scene. I love to see people celebrating the real reason for Christmas!

I love how much you can tell that Luke understands and is smart. Like he is comprehending everything around him, it's just his body doesn't want to cooperate. and you can even see in his facial expressions that he gets frustrated or confused with his body not working properly. He's doing so much better though! everytime he reaches with his left hand I can't help but smile because I know that that was something he's been working on. I love seeing how happy and excited he is about the world around him. thank you for sharing your baby's journey with us. it's a highlight of my day to see his little smile and hear that adorable laugh.

My partner and I are both qualified nail techs. He’s had more classes and is smarter than me but as he is sleeping you get my lesser in-depth explanation of cuticle oils and creams. I’m not sure that brand will have the exact benefits. Creams usually mean a more abrasive texture that will work like a scrub and remove excess/overgrowth of cuticle whilst conditioning. They’re basically conditioner for your nails. Cuticle oil promotes healthy growth and strengthens the nails. It’s especially important to maintain daily use if you wear acrylics. But is a good idea to use anyway. Behind the cuticle area is the matrix- where the workings of nail growth happens Your cuticles are the bits of white “skin” that sometimes spread on to the nail - (not your actual skin and neither should not be cut off like some do. When you have a manicure you will notice them adding a cream that softens the dead skin making it easier to gently scrape away. This is not anything like cutting) The cuticles job is to prevent dirt and bacteria entering the matrix and causing infection. So it’s an all in one really. Keeping your cuticles conditioned takes care of so much more than you think. Now I’m hoping after a year off I haven’t forgotten anything. (I genuinely have memory issues) But I’m also impressed I remembered so much. I will have my partner make corrections when he wakes up ahaha

I use cuticle cream daily! I just rub a little on the cuticles. It helps heal my fingers because I have a bad nail biting habit

I think some people use cuticle cream if their cuticles are literally ruined (for a variety of reasons) but maybe if they get their nails done a lot. Nails and cuticles weaken when you get manicures or paint your nails and use acetone remover a lot. I don't think there's a point for general use unless you frequently do stuff to your nails
