Awww sweet little Ryker 🌸💕💜 I will be doing the morning pumping very soon as well! I’m always the early riser in my house haha I feel so much better if I can get up and get going for a bit before my kids are awake. Love seeing your kids together, SO precious.

Just a bit of friendly advice...I’ve heard from multiple sources that you should gently swirl breast milk, as shaking it breaks down some of the nutrients.

Do you use the medela sterilization bags every time you pump? I recently have been pumpin more regularly and usually just wash after each use.. now I’m wondering if I should be using the bags after each use lol

Usually soap and warm water are good enough after each use and sterilize once at the end of the day. A HELPFUL TIP I LEARNED... Is to refrigerate your pump parts (flanges and bottles) after each use and you don't have to wash them every time you pump! It stops the bacteria growth! ☺

We bought the egg swaddle and unfortunately it did nothing for my son “/ the material never stayed tight around him so he always got out of it. I’m not sure the little egg did much either. Those babies know mamas scent though! When he was in his bassinet by me he always woke up. Once we transitioned to his crib (not until about 6/7 months lol) is when he went down to one feeding then eventually he gave them up all together!

Ксения Оспельникова she might of done it too soon after his bottle and he might be tired, my lad does that on his last tummy time off the day after his bath and bottle but during the day he’s really strong with his head. Just a thought 💭

Really silly question from a non-mom here, maybe someone can help me - but what makes you choose to pump and bottle feed breast milk, rather than to breast feed or to formula feed? Sorry if I'm being dumb lol

Breastfeeding is really hard. A lot of mums give up before 6 weeks and turn to formula or bottle feeding. It can hurt and there can be so many complications along the way. I breastfeed but also give a bottle every now and then to have a break it’s extremely tiring sometimes :)

Not sure if anyone advised. I learned in nicu to not put the milk in the door in small refrigerators specifically because of temp control. Just spreading that awareness to others. Not sure if it's too important but there it is for ya...God bless

For the first month I let him control his schedule! After that I made sure he was awake by 7:30AM, awake for a couple hours, napping for a couple hours, awake again for a couple hours in the afternoon, and another long nap to follow. Then he would be awake from about 4/5 to about 8pm each night :)
