In part two of our anniversary trip we headed towards the White Pocket Recreation Area.
The first day we camped off Pine Tree Road. We moved campsites mid day as the better of the two opened up.
The next morning we headed towards White Pocket. We had storms move through which made the drive a little more interesting.
Once we arrived we spent the next two days exploring all White Pocket has to offer. Additionally we tested out our Creative XP night vision goggles. We saw one of the best sunsets AZ has ever shown us.
If you ever get the chance to visit White Pocket, be sure to prioritize spending multiple days to see the whole area.
While the White Pocket area has no leash requirement please use common sense. Leash your dog past groups or other dogs while visiting.

Hello. Awesome video. What is your battery setup in the Hiker?
@desertpointadventures

Thanks! We just had Hiker install the electronics as we already had a battery. We use a 100AH standard lead acid marine grade deep cell battery. We added an inexpensive Harbor Freight solar panel and it has worked perfect for our needs.

Love your videos! I'm very curious to know what chair she has, looks perfect snugging pups while camping! Thanks!

It is (was) really great for that! Just be careful in using in sand, we were unable to salvage it after this trip. The name of the chair on Walmarts website is "Ozark Trail Oversized Relax Plush Chair".

I'm getting a hiker trailer. Should i get xl 5X10 or extreme off-road?

There is a lot to consider with this question. Are you frequently going full off road or just using forest roads that are a bit bumpy? We have found that our trailer (5x9 MRXL) is great for what we do, 90% reasonable forest roads and 10% more rough off-roading. The EOR suspension is far better, we have spent the last 3 weeks with FOB WALDEN (check out their channel). It is impressive how much better their suspension handles the terrain. That said, ours does it just fine, you just need to slow down a bit and air down the tires for a smoother ride.

@@desertpointadventures Thanks, Yes thats what I've been thinking. We are probably going to be similar to you 90/10. But we live on the east coast where off roads are more technical and tighter. I'm thinking if we get a little more technical leave the trailer at home and just stay in the roof top tent on top of my TRD off road Tundra. We plan on taking epic road trips out west to the more open locations like y'all do. I like the 5x10 idea for more room and(we have two large dogs) and the fact that its cheaper. Love your videos. Maybe we can meet up sometime for a camp. Probably heading somewhere this winter. Thanks
