Hahaha! So true. Watching videos of people ‘work’ is a strange concept. It’s like farming simulator games, or truck driving. Or videos of people restoring tools or washing/detailing cars. Visualising tasks at my 9-5 office job as mini quests in an NPC game makes it more fun for me. Perhaps in the future we’ll play VR games where we do real world work as a pastime! Imagine how crazy that is. I’m blabbering now sorry!

Definitely not safe, but I used to cycle when I lived there and the only "accident" I got in was waiting to turn right, this guy just decided to pull into my lane and run me over. I used to love the adrenaline and physical exertion though. And at 4am when we closed up the bar and went home, there were little to no cars in the road and I used to go as fast as I could down some hills. That was the best part, though quite irresponsible.

@Arkkay No. In down-time in a car you have the option to park and sleep therefore making it possible. 1-2 hour naps depending on the person would keep them awake long enough to be free from harm due to lack of sleeping.

If you consider he was only moving for 15 hours, let's say that it wasn't all delivery's so we can assume he did about 8-15 hours of delivery's, he made at most £24.92 ($31.75) an hour and at least £13.29 ($16.93) an hour. I don't know how people get paid out side of the states but our minimum wage here is £5.69 ($7.25) an hour just by doing the uber eats work alone he has made 4x what the average american makes in the same time span. Now at the moment of watching the video it has 1,790,086 views, The typical video makes around £1.18-£2.65 ($1.5-$3) per 1000 views, He would have made at least £2107.79 ($2,685.12‬) and at most £4215.58 ($5,370.25) on the video alone, which is what most middle class Americans would make in 1 month, he did in 24 Hours.

Fuck that, i pay for delivery to my door. I expect you to come into the apartment building. If i wanted to leave the building i would just go and get my own mcdonalds. 'didn't come to the door' is the default negative review on uber where i live. Thanks! This is actually the most lazy 24 hours of riding I've ever done so felt pretty comfortable and safe. Longest I've done is 50 hours (1 hour total of naps) which got me 800km / 500 miles. Actually working on the video for that now!

200.19 GBP / 24 hours = 8.34 GBP / hour UK Minimum Wage for those 25 and older: 8.21 GBP / hour. You beat minimum wage just barely. That said, probably best not to make a habit of being awake for so long. Last I checked, Uber ain't giving free coffee for overtime work.

Used to work Ubereats and Deliveroo same time on scooter. Friday-SAT- Sunday,doing 12h each shift, on average , £200 each day. £500-600 weekly just doing those 3 days . Cyclist should get bit more or have shorter distances!

Yeah, the weekends can be awesome. I've not done Deliveroo but am on Stuart too. We have less insurance and fuel bills but we do need to eat more food lol. I prefer the longer drops with Uber because you actually get paid for it.

Damn, you're devoted to do this by pedal bro. I did it for a month on my electric converted mountain bike while looking for another job. 6-8hr shifts. I have 3 batteries. Kept 2 at home. They lasted 2-3 hrs. When the first one died I got my girlfriend to come drop off a fresh battery and pick up the dead one, that she puts on the charger. By the end of the shift when the 3rd battery is dead, the first one is full so I actually get 4 batterys throughout a shift, while only having 3 ;)

@No you Must be some nice area you're in. With Uber, they charge the customer a delivery fee that does NOT really go to the delivery boy, so people don't like to tip even more. If your meal is 10, but the fee is 5, if you tip you might as well have walked and gotten 2 meals yourself.

Nice video. In Nyc working for Uber Eats in 2019 is a no no. They can't even compete or compare with other delivery companies. It was great until the founder of the company was forced out. He knew that incentives motivated workers. Now the company is seemingly run by unqualified people who know nothing about the delivery business.

It's crazy how bikes aren't safe in such places like London or NY! I live in a "third world" (as most of western countries likes to call us) country, and i guarantee you that i never locked my bike, one time i bought a coffee at 17h and came back home and i didn't realized that i left it near the coffee shop, i went back at 21h and the bike is still there exactly how i left it.

Its because its such a densely packed city, our streets are much smaller in general in the UK let alone in a city like london which is very very old and has crazy street layouts, then the traffic is insane! they even introduced a fine just to drive in the city for the day, for commuters etc. so allot of people do it to get to work faster without traffic delays, and to avoid paying money just to drive your bloody car to work lol. Its a SHIT city to live in, fun to visit though.
