24-PLAYER Mario Kart 200cc KNOCKOUT [DAY 5] 

Halfway point until the invitational tournament and we are already nearing 24 names!!! Really enjoyed partaking in this KO. Unfortunately my time didn't last long due to my disconnection, but let's hope for some better luck in the future events!

The craziest thing about the 2nd event is that I barely snagged the last spot in the room itself, and should've been eliminated both of the first two races - N64 Rainbow Road I pulled triple shrooms at the very end to take over 20th after getting chain chomped off the map and almost eliminated - Ribbon Road my last item was a POW so I was sure I was out but apparently it actually screwed over the Baby Luigi player and I somehow ended up passing them and got 16th, and it all went uphill from there). - Pulled a bullet bill in 11th out of 16 on Jungle Jamble and finished 3rd - Peaceful race near the front until a scare at the end on DK Ruins but survived - Managed to get 1st on Delfino Pier, one of the hardest tracks (the practice paid off I guess) - Another good race on Koopa Troopa Beach with good item RNG - In the final 4, when I pulled the 2.5 bill early lap 2, I knew I had to hold it until the very end and that was my ticket to get to the finals. Making it to the finals and getting the point and getting screentime here felt so surreal haha. That entire KO was like something straight out of a movie. 😂 I was wondering how your reds hit you in the finals and wanted to see your POV, that was kinda weird. Maybe we'll get a rematch one day where reds aren't so stupid haha. I can't believe I managed to actually get that point! GG's

Awesome ko day for me. Joined the first two KOs and surprisingly I got 5/24, I have improved a lot in these KOs and my goal is to get a point before this series ends. Thanks for having me Troy and GGs :))

Oh and also, you should try using the sugarscoot! While yes, it’s outside drift, the acceleration, handling, and off-road on it are very viable, plus it’s way easier to turn quick if you need to.

I was expecting to miss 2 or 3 days of playing this series, but luckily I only missed this one. I’m excited to watch what happened!

Would you ever consider a round up screen for each day? Pretty much just the 4/5 winners and the vehicles they won with (maybe how many points they have now?), I think it'd be helpful to have a recap!

First gp was the best I’ve played so far. Not too much but I’m glad I didn’t get out immediately like I have been. Very fun series so far

Troy on n64 rainbow road around the 16 minute mark gets a star, "this is the worst thing I could have pulled" *gets a shock dodge seconds later which allowed him to survive* 😂

There’s actually a respawn glitch in 3DS MC. If you trick off the first ramp with a mushroom and land in a specific area, you respawn in front of the castle. I’m not sure if it’s faster in 200cc, but it’s definitely faster in 150cc.

That red shell coming back to hit Troy was the worst bit of luck I've ever seen in a MKWii tournament.

i don't know if it would be worth the effort, but having someone host the final 1v1 (like Empex did last video) would be a good way to make the finals less laggy to watch. Then again I understand setting up that kind of thing everytime would be really annoying.

I would love to see Troy play the Wario Bike since weight is such a problem on 200

For the karting day, i highly suggest you use daytripper with specifically Peach. If you start drifting early and go inside, you'll drift really tight. take the spiral tower on N64 bowser castle for example, you'll take the corners really tight with peach daytripper the acceleration and handling stats will really help you, also you can charge an orange mini turbo really quickly with this combo. You just need to brake a LOT since it's obviously 200CC Peach daytripper for day 6?

karts in this format will be mayhem.
