I found this after watching your excellent travel packing video. : - ) Some feedback: Your heart seems in the right place, and the ideas in this video are good. 👍 But one of the things I've learned to declutter that gets in the way of my inner peace is content that encourages unrealistic goals that set me up for failure. For many people, decluttering all the items in this video in only a month before 2024 as the title suggests is unrealistic. We're not all starting with the same amount of stuff, and we don't all have equal demands on our time or the same priorities. I like content that acknowledges that we all have different circumstances (as in your comments about having a car or not : - ), and encourages setting bite-sized Process vs. Outcome goals that *guarantee* a win (e.g. looking for things to declutter for 5 minutes on a timer). (The Minimal Mom and Clutterbug are great examples of this.) Paradoxically, starting small and giving myself credit for even the tiniest wins has *supercharged* my decluttering and helped me get rid of WAY more stuff. 🤩 *I can tell from the way you ended the video that in some ways you get this, and your heart and ideas are good, so I hope you keep experimenting and making videos!* ❤😀
@@bellaluce7088 Thank you sweetie! Of course. That's a great point to keep in mind. We are all different and our lives have different requirements. There's no magic formula for everyone. The way I see it is that videos like these serve more as an inspiration rather than a recipe or a competition. Thank you for the support 🥰 Hope to see you in the next video. 👋
Thanks so much for sharing 😊 Totally agree about all our expired products. Food, medicine and makeup all have a way of piling up so we always try and declutter them at different points throughout the year.
Yes, I also struggle with empty pots, boxes and containers 🥲🤚 Very useful video! I like yours, comparing to others videos about the same subject, because you don’t mention too much specific objects that I don’t even have 😂 I recently discovered the book “Goodbye, Things”, by Fumio Sasaki and it changed my life!! I recommend it to anyone who is struggling with letting go certain objects that we get attached to 😊
That's great feedback! Thank you 😊 I've heard a lot of people mentioning that book. Will probably give it a go once I finish the ones I have around the house. Thank you for supporting ❤️
I totally agree about the car. It is costly, takes up too much time, space, effort, worry etc. One is better off without them. And the more people are using public transport the better and more frequent it gets! The more people opt out by bying their own car, the worse public transport gets. And the streets get fuller, more loud, dangerous, just more awful. Car? No thanks.
Hi Bea, just found your channel and really like your content, thank you so much! In this video and in your travel items -video you wore a beautiful black jacket that I really like! Would you be so kind to tell me the brand? Thank you so much in advance and warm wishes from freezing cold Berlin from Claudia
🙌 welcome to this little corner of the internet ❤ thank you for subscribing! Her name is Fiona and she was a street dog so I can't know for sure but I think she is a mix of Border collie with something smaller and more lazy 🤭
