Some times these magnets interfere with each other. There should NOT be a north pole magnet AND a south pole magnet on the same coil at the same time that's why we need to use square magnets instead of round magnets and design proper spacing of the magnets. I have devised a slightly different design that I think could double the efficiency of this generator while taking advantage of the no cogging feature. The flux density is greater the closer the magnets are to each other so making thinner coils would also make more power output. This new design can incorporate steel for the return magnet flux field. And lastly, the new design should use the coils almost on top of each other so as to have 3 phases very close to each other. This design would be a hybrid of old and new designs.
Awesome project man , can you tell me the coil turns and the gace of the wire ( diameter of the coil wire ) I busy to build also a wind turbine at 24Volt ;-)
my friend taught me if a person was unsure how many turns to do, he said just wind one test coil put it between the magnet rotors and spin the rotors to the desired cut in speed ie the rpms you want the wind turbine to hit battery voltage ie big blades maybe 150rpms small blades maybe 250rpms, example if you want 12v at 250rpms and you have 3 coils per phase then you want your test coil to hit 4vac at 250rpms, 3 coils times 4 volts = 12v. i know you know this but others may not. ofcourse its just a rough guide.
I'm hoping when we put the new gear cog on it's going to reduce the 12 volt to about 80 and the 24 volt to about 160 which is still pretty high. But it's all an experiment as you know
Thats an estimate based on the fact that it hit 28v at around 250 before , sometimes it can be confusing slowing the film down but that was my guess, so it will be geared up to give 33% more rpm at the motor , I like having gears on it , you know me I like to be different , shame that Chris Olson isn't around to show us the way.

Is that Copper "?? OR Copper Coted '?? Aluminum.?? If so, In case ya' don't know, [ Aluminum ] it's - self, can have a Slowing effect on your magnetic power wheel.... Causing it to produce less' amps" .... Just one of many" things to washout for, my friend....
