In todays video we get a package from ‪@mltoys9644‬ that we install in Leighton's Boss 302 Mustang Power Wheel already rocking the MLToys 24 volt battery kit. In the package is the Stage 4 tuned system that includes 775 motors (not Traxxas, I mis spoke), steel gears, and cooling fins. We even do father son donuts, vote below for who did it better. My son has a 24v atv with 200w motors. I want to make it torquier for him since he likes going of hills. Do you recommend going to a 40v ryobi or just changing out the motors for 300w ones? Or both at once?

You can do both but make sure you have a fuse or safety measure in there for the harness not sure what amperage that thing will be rated for

Oh man if I'm gonna do this to my kid's Mustang, I'll have to get a smaller car battery. The one in there now just barely clears the stock motors.

@@BrailsfordsRides Yeah, I used a decently large battery from one of my summer cars (a Hyundai Pony) it just fits in there perfectly. I'll have to visit the wreckers nearby, maybe I'll get lucky with some leisure vehicle batteries. We NEVER run out of juice, and sometimes we go up to 5-6 KM round trip visiting several playgrounds. Good exercise ;) Love the vid - we found our Mustang in the garbage, but after cleaning it, painting it, and spending 40 hrs on custom electrical systems, EVERY kid wants it. Mine, of course, wants more speed :D

Does this have variable speed pedal/throttle or is it all or nothing? Do u have brake module reduction?

I do have the brake module I just haven't installed it and I do not have a variable pedal for them unfortunately

We did but ended up removing the rear because my boys wanted to drift. I highly recommend it on the front though. Go to you local bike shop and ask them to get some scrap tires. They won't care, that's what I did

I don’t understand why the motor upgrade ? The motors handle up to like 60 or even 80v? Can’t you just upgrade the battery to a Dewalt battery 20v 9 amp hour? They have dewalt battery houses you can splice in easy.

They absolutely cannot lol, before I upgraded we burned through 4 sets of stock motors on 24v circuits

You're little "race" you did would be the perfect time to use the 360 camera, one shot, one take. Depending on how big your course is.

@@BrailsfordsRides I'm just saying it would make filming easier for things like that and filming in general as you never need to worry about the camera being zoomed in too far or too close, or not centered in the frame because you choose all that later when editing. Saving time and hassle of shooting multiple cameras and putting it all together means saving money and being more efficient. Especially with the new born around, time seems like it would be pretty valuable. It's been a huge time saver for me in that sense alone. I hardly use my regular go pros anymore and thought about selling them to re coup the money I spent on the 360 but i wanst hurting that bad to need to but that's also an option I guess
