Gave you a thumbs up! Wicked nice! One bit of constructive criticism though. Everything is subjective but.... for me I would go with a shorter tighter back fender like the "NEVER OFF" fabrication. Why? Because it puts way more emphasis on the back tire while still giving a sleeker look to the back frame. I'm putting my money where my mouth is and doing exactly that with my 2024. I'll have to get a back fender custom made, but I'll gladly do it for the look I desire. You're bike is dope for sure though! Nice job overall!
That's the way it should come new, Nice ! The only thing I don't like is $2,400.00 for the kit, rear wheel , tire and fender. They say save money by using your scout front wheel , ggg. Right couldn't afford 2400.00 more for the front wheel
Hello and greetings from Spain. I'm trying to find out what type of rim and tire you have so I can upgrade my Indian Scout to a 240 wheel. Could you tell me?
Hey man, just ordered the baffle. I lve the sound when im riding with the guys, but its too loud for rides around town. Does the quiet baffle help lower the sound?
@caronrider....Yes, the quiet baffle lowers the sound a lot but still gives you that deep throttle sound. I believe it sounds better with the quiet baffle. You should be happy with the quiet baffle.
I purchased the rear finder kit from www.shoprccomponents.com. Please look at my other video to see how I installed my turn signals. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fu7haedm3Lg.html
Been thinking about getting this bike as a 2nd bike, yours seems to be the standout one I have seen to date - I’d describe it as “understated badass”. I agree with you about being too loud…being heard and sounding good does not mean being obnoxious. I think you got the right balance. One question I have - it’s a dumb one…rear indicators and brake light…is that the little led strip on the rear mudguard? If so…how does it look when braking and indicating at the same time. Just curious. Thanks for the video.
Pedro, yes, the red strip you see in the back is the brake light. Hit the link below to see how I did my rear brake lights and turn signals. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fu7haedm3Lg.html
Hey Mark. Sorry for the delayed response. I got the rear wheel kit from RC components www.shoprccomponents.com/scou... and the pipe from Freedom Performance. freedomperformexhaust.com
Hey mate, I am from Australia and looking at getting the Scout Bobber. I love the exhaust. Can you tell me what baffle you put on and where to buy it. Cheers.
@David… Yes, the finder came with kit. I believe so but not certain if it can support a passenger. But it is a hole in the finder where you can put an extra seat back there.
Looks great, love the stance with the 240. Been thinking about getting the 2 into 1 myself but I've heard that they can be painfully loud on rides, did you find that the quiet baffle made it significantly better?
Daniel, Yes, the quiet baffle made it significantly better. It has a deep sound to it but not as loud. If you get the 2 into 1, I recommend purchasing the quiet baffle too.
@@myscoutbobber3298 which kit did you purchase? I have not found one with a custom size fender like that for the rear. I still like the fender myself. Your bike is bad ass, brother 💪 So clean!
Hey, Art's!! The wind can be brutal at speeds beyond 75 mph due to not having a windshield. That is about the only con that's worth mentioning. Get one, I think you will enjoy it!!.
Yes. The price is for the rim, tire, spacers, and rear fender which are made and customized for that particular bike. It might be cheaper without the fender.
The back tire kit runs about $2,400. The seat was $400. The freedom performance 2 to 1 pipe was $1,100. Other small mods ran between $10 - $200. It’s all worth it
@@eternal1967 The tail light is back there, but I modified it to blend with the bike until I hit on the brakes. I will be posting a video on that modification in a few days.
