In this video, I'm replacing the leaking bathroom faucet in our bathroom sink. The replacement is Glacier Bay brand, part 247 368. Brushed nickel 4-inch replacement. This is easily a DIY purple collar life project.

That was an easy task. Glad to have it done. I waited a few weeks with it on my honey do list. You can't have thought it was as funny as Jennifer did. She's still making fun of me days later. :)

Thank you Chad. I was having a problem with leaking from the rubber gasket right under the sink. I turned the gasket over and the leak is gone.🥳😎

So the directions say put sealer on the gasket in step one. I didn't see you do that is it necessary?

We didn't use any sealer except for what was in the box. I'm not sure if that's the correct way to do it, or not. I'd probably recommend doing what the instructions say. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching. Most of the new ones are at least partially plastic now. But the pricing certainly doesn’t reflect the change! I can’t believe how much the price of faucets has gone up.
