Koh Lanta, is honestly a dream get away spot. Very quiet, amazing locals, less polluted than other areas in thailand and the hippie vibe the island gives me is just the icing on top. AND THE FOOD is 10x better than all the other islands.
Many thanks for the recommendation. Our second night now at Sonya Bungalows, great value, close to the beach and restaurants. Really appreciate your vlog
As a survivor of Melanoma and coming from North Eastern Australia I grew up in the sun and spent so much time in SE Asia, Pleeeease put a hat on Martha 🙏especially with your complexion. Love your Vlogs
Just discovered you pairs channel, caught up to the latest videos now, my wife and I were on Patong beach for New Year’s Eve, we’ve been there for six out of the last seven new year eves, we just returned from six weeks in Thailand doing Phuket, Koh Chang , Chang Mai and Pattaya, already booked two months doing Vietnam and Thailand for next winter, keep up the good times guys took a lot of guts to do what you’ve done at such a young age , we’re in our mid fifties now so don’t do it as raw as you pair 🤣🤣🤣👍
Love the presentation Guys and the historic perspectives 🙂, the Island and Bungalow look fantastic, much better than the first place you stayed I guess 🙂 One thought I have is the importance of tourism on the island, sod COVID, sod RESTRICTION, crack on and tour 🙂
Thanks Tyler!! I didn’t realise the importance of tourism in places like this until you see it first time and speak with the locals. It was tough for them during covid and I think they deserve as much tourism they can get now to claw it back- it’s a beautiful island ☺️
We were in Koh Lanta early December and unfortunately there was a weather depression over the whole area ... so we only got 2 really good days out of 10 - the rest of the time raining lots and grey skies. All the locals were saying how it wasn't the normal. Good excuse to return I reckon. Great video guys. Will subscribe and follow.
Oh that’s such a shame! That is really strange considering how we were there near the end and the weather was so good ☹️ yes, you definitely have to return now😉☀️ thank you for subscribing🥰❤️
That "yellow noodle soup thing" that you ate at Pinto in Old Town is called "mee sa-pum goong" - its one of my favourites and I eat the chicken version "mee sa-pum gai" there all the time!
Great video guys thanks. Visiting koh lanta in March on our honeymoon. Great to see a recent review of the place. Which area did you stay in? We are staying in Kantiang Bay. Were ye there?
Thank you! Congratulations 🎊 Kantiang bay is really nice! That's where most of the nice resorts are 😅 Just up from Nui bay, the first beach on our video. We stayed on Long beach at christmas and Klong Khong beach in this video which is further up the island. I hope you both have a great time, all the best 😊
get a factor 50 by one of the top brands, I live in south france I have like 4x factor 50s in my cars and house and bag and everywhere, cos uv ages and it kindof itches my skin now i'm 44, i feel the effects of the UV oxydizing the skin cells, so i always have factor 50+, and i tan a lot even with it on. economy brands are like melted candles tho so i get only reeeely top ones that score highest on all the concensus.
Yes, thank you. I wish i would've been more organised this day and bought it with us, which was a very silly move from me. i always wear sunscreen ever day on my face though!
my feeling is that this place already overcrowded and too many resorts. many years back there were only a few resorts and not so much traffic. i know the whole development of this island after coming there the first time 40 years ago and was living for about 7 years in my own house on a land i developed by myself about 80 m above the beach
I see you have used drone footage, was it hassle to get all the licences needed. im looking into taking a drone for my 5 week holiday in Thailand but not sure if its worth it.
