Good video. I am a keyboard heavy user and I remember way back when I started using excel searching for the less obvious shortcuts like ctrl + page up/down for changing sheets, as I knew there must be a keyboard shortcut for it. Although I knew most of the ones here already, there were a couple new ones for me. I found the presentation very clear and concise. I would add that the shortcut ctrl + tab works in all MS Office programs to switch between instances. For example : if you are in Word and use it you switch to the next open word document.

Lot of thanks for this video. It's an eye opener. I have a doubt and hope you would clarify. I have a numerical dataset with decimals. Unfortunately in one cell i have two dots, so the values are not counted. How to find out these errors.

Glad you found it useful... Excel allows creating your own shortcuts using VBA. So you can have a VBA macro that will run with a keyboard shortcut

Thanks Summit, you really helped me countless times in excel I just suggest you also make a note about the Quick Access toolbar, for the shortcuts that are not easy as an example I currently have Paste As Value in ALT + 1 & Format Painter in Alt + 4 and so on Again thanks for the video

When you add icons to QAT, you can access these using the ALT key. Press the ALT key and you will see number appear in the QAT. That becomes their keyboard shortcut

Who ever is watching these videos want to learn shortcut for excel keyboard shortcuts.. here is the simple trick.. open excel and press Alt key it will highlight the shortkey with underline for each option.. for example F for "File"..likewise remaining.. check it..

Hello Sir Summit Bansal.. i am really fun of your youtube channel esp. the excel video tutorials for with you I was able to create some excel formatting or can i called it excel program that realy makes my job and even my colleagues to save most of our time in doing such, like tallying of data. Before it would take almost a day to do it but because of what ive learned it would only take a single copy and paste then boom. With this, i would like to ask for your help. Will there be a chance in the excel where if you copy a data in merged cells it could be pasted in a single unmerged cell? Thank you so much Sir!! God bless you😍😍😍

Hi summit this video is so useful. Could you help me how can i do right click on sheets without using mouse in excel workbook. And when rows are blank in excel data then ctrl+shift+L is helpful for using filter in whole data or not.

For right-click without mouse, there is a key in the keyboard, just right to the Control Key. If you don't have that, try Shift + F10. And for filter, if you want to apply it to the entire data set (that may have blank rows), first select the entire data set and then apply the Filters.

Instead of using Alt E S for paste special we can use Alt Ctrl V to open the paste special dialogue box.

@ mai 1k company mai working hyun mere under mai 72 empoly hai,and we 2015 se kaam kar rahe hai ,mere pass unka pura sale data hai 5 saal kaa with empoly id to mujhe unko ye data each candidate ko dena hai har 5 din ke baad jaise hi unka data khatam ho jata hai fir jab mai unko data send karu to mujhe kaise pata chalega ki maine unko kaha tak data aur jab tak kaa data diya hai... please shoot video on this and please please please revert sir..
