There are still great games that were releases for the ps5. Just like star wars, re4, dead space, Callisto, gow ragnarok and spider man 2. Lies of P was also incredible. Demon's souls too and Requem. And Returnal too.
I'm feeling the same way, I just bought a ps5 got it set up and want to play a new game that I could not on ps4 tbh. He even said at beginning that he wasn't trying to state more ps4 games in this list such as GoT even tho it's a great game. My hat goes off to these ps4 games 🫡 but I'm off to look for games that are only playable on p5 such as dragons dogma 2 for example if that makes sense .
Thank you for this video, I was going to upgrade from my PS4 to a PS5, but yet to see a game that is worthy for me to spend the money, most of the games I do like on the list are playable on my PS4, not a single game on your list is worth the upgrade. But GTA or Killing Floor 3 will convince me to upgrade, until than my PS4 will do.
I'm in the same boat for the most part tend to lean heavily towards jrpgs and haven't seen more than a tiny handful of games that even look interesting. 2 come to mind dead space and dragons dogma 2.. and both those seem hit or miss most say dragons dogma dark arisen is superior..so I'm content with my ps4 and ps4 pro😊

When 20% of the list is remakes, it says a lot about modern gaming. With that being said this is THE best list of best PS5 games out there. Edit: to clarify why I think it's the best list out there is because it actually includes amazing indies and lesser known titles that are actually better than the majority of what other channels publish on their lists.
Its funny how everyone is so burnt out on playstation but they put out such quality content and theres very little alternative that the only complaints are that ps5 didnt meet the unreasonably high standards of past genarations . . . Yet. Remember, two of the four years that ps5 has been out were during covid when studios were shut down and you couldnt find a ps5. Were still effectively in the ps5 infancy
@Stormmaniac ya same here I just got mine. I think that's probably the case for a lot of people. Only the early adopters who were willing to scour the marketplace and pay top dollar to get them when supply was limited in the first year's had them for a while. Compared to earlier genarations were in 4 of 7 years. Every genaration takes a couple years to get going and I think this genaration is worse because of covid. Effectively were about 2 years in. Only 20 exclusive games by this point is pretty weak but I think Playstation still has some tricks up it's sleeve. That being said I think Switch and Steamdeck win the genaration so far. SD is kind of a cheat though and Switch is only questionably this genaration
Nothing unreasonable about the standards. The quality of gaming, just like the quality of music and plenty of movies, has dropped due to greed. If the passion were put back in, before the monetary potential was fully exploited like it is today, we’d have way better quality games. That’s a fact. Like when did making a good game become “too expensive”?
@ninosage9187 I am not saying quality hasn't gone down. But it's not like there's a bunch of crappy exclusives. There's a handful of ok exclusives. I just think that's from the unnatural 3 year lull in the economy that we all just experienced but everyone seems to have forgotten about. And there actually are a lot of good games coming out, just from smaller studios that are released on various consoles, thus nothing to justify a new console. I just think it will bounce back

As a Nintendo fan, I don’t have much interest in newer non-Nintendo game lists. But I’m watching until the end because MOMMA DIDN’T RAISE NO QUITTERS!!!
I have had mine only 4 months and honestly i could have skipped this gen and stayed at the ps4, thats pretty much what i have been playing on this console anyways, this thing is in its ladder stages and this thing has barely any good games if anyone is planning getting one you may want to hold off..
Sadly, none of these games would make me want a PS5. I really wish I hadn't sold my PS4 Pro, to upgrade to PS4 Pro Pro (in a silly box). The 9th gen might be the one that kills consoles and sells gaming PCs.
Great video but meh this has actually put me off buying a ps5. Two card games and the rest are remakes or sequels?? Not a drop of originality in sight....feels like the potential has not been reached at all! Tekken? Resident evil? Yakuza? God of war? And ten dark souls "wannabes" How played out are these games
Speaking of absolutely nothing i cant fathom the decision to make Alan Wake 2 and Baldurs Gate 3 digital only. I love to collect games ffs and keep them on the shelves. What where they thinking? Especially since digital price is the same as a physical copy LMAO

@@SuperlowriseElden Ring is one of the best games all time IMO. The Artstyle, soundtrack, world design, endless amounts of stuff to do, and solid gameplay are all some of the best i’ve ever seen.

Cyberpunk on PS5 is now better than 80% of this list. Absolutely RIDICULOUS omission from a list like this. And IDC if it was a PS4 game first, GoT PS5 is better than every single game on this list, as it is the best open world game ever made. This list is fkn trash mate.
