So it's looking like a few of the 'legendary' loot chests I mention in this video are actually level specific and may be only epic or perhaps rare at lower levels. Still, hopefully a useful boost at that point in the game but not what I stated regardless, and I should've checked with an early game save. Sorry about that everyone! Either way, I hope the 'gifts' mentioned in this video are helpful still, and you all have a great day. Merry Christmas once again!
I am a very new player, so most of this stuff I hadn’t come across or hadn’t bothered with. For example. My first play through I found Comrades Hammer. I cared less though because I was playing a 20 INT 20 TECH build. Never fired it. Sat down n the boot of Jackie’s Arch the rest of the game. Great work choom, keep up the preem content!
Not always level specific but story progress specific. Just tried the black market meat group in Biotechnica, level 50 but main story is Playing it Safe & Map Tann Pelen. Only got white junk and 5 green components. Also the Jig Jig site (no.22) should be doable without tendons. Just need to start at the Jig Jig entry sign and climb the fire stairs located above the Jig and then the yellow ladder up from there. It wasn't how I got there but I noticed the ladder and backtracked the route.
@@Paldasan you can also drive up the street behind the top of the shack and jump up there, bypassing the need to parkour up the side of JigJig. ive done it that way many times. you climb onto the side of the building from the road, then up a little, then can slip past the side of the tall fence to make it around into the shack. found it this way via a mod (Missing Persons : Fixers Hidden Gems) because it gives a gig map pin point to drive to. it never sugested i could go via the front, always made me drive to the back street and climb up that way lol
im level 50 and i still dont have any of those legendary loot chests spawning, not even the mod items themselves update: i have 100% the game besides one glitched trophy, but ihave pretty much looted every chest on the map. Most of them for me were epic Armadillo mods like i got 16 of them from chests instead of legendary stuff. thanks cdprojektred
Just so you know the fixer pants and the techgogs are part of the legendary cosmetic sets based on the roles in the Cyberpunk world (solo, fixer, corpo, etc.). There are actually nine such sets found all over and some are behind doors that need tech ability to access. Also since these clothing sets are always legendary whether you save reload or not, you can do save scumming to make the items spawn better stats (like up to +150 armor).
It's usually best to go get Dex's Plan B after you've gone and dealt with Nix (in back of Afterlife) because many people report that if they go get Plan B sooner, the mission named "Kold Storage" might not activate right away when you walk over to the cooler containing Bartmoth's body. This is due to a bug that many players have reported experiencing. Also, you should not bother doing the mission named "The Gift" (in which you receive a free "PING" quickhack). Reportedly there may be a bug, caused by completing this quest, that causes you to NEVER score free quickhacks by hacking Access Points. You're supposed to ALWAYS have a small chance of a free quickhack, and there is a perk (2x levels) that you can purchase which increases this chance. If this bug begins happening, you will never ever again score a quickhack by this method (despite wasting 2 perk points). This is also the only way to get Legendary Quickhacks without 20 Intelligence!!!
Well now I know why I wasn't getting any on this playthrough! Previous playthrough's I did the mission and still got them, but this is my first on PS5 and I'm not getting any quickhacks at all despite having the perk for 100% chance. Thankyou for this. I will avoid it when I replay the game for the expansion.
On my current play through I did "The Gift" and once I got the two level perk that increases your chances I am picking up quick hacks through access points like crazy. Perhaps if you get Ping but don't do the follow up where you hit the access point in the shop as part of the job?
Problem solver actually works very well with a sandevistan as it basically just becomes a fast firing submachine gun you can use without waiting half a lifetime to take the second shot. Also let’s you control the recoil WAAY better
One caveat when it comes to picking up legendary clothing is that the game scales the armor rating to the player's current level when it gets picked up. So, if you find a legendary clothing item when you're at a low level, it will quickly become inferior to whatever items you loot later, even common ones. Yes, you can upgrade it as you level up, but that's going to require a lot, and I mean a lot, of upgrade components. The optimum strategy for legendary clothing is to hold off picking up those items until you're at or near the maximum player level of 50.
@@Nil2none Fortunately, they got rid of the armor rating of clothing in the 2.0 update and moved the armor to cyberware and clothing now is purely cosmetic. So, you don't have to look ridiculous anymore in order to get the best possible armor. Clothing still has a tier rating of 1 (white) to 5 (orange), for some unfathomable reason, and that does scale with player level even though there's no point to it. Also, they reduced the clothing prices in the shops by a lot, so it's actually worthwhile now to check out the clothing shops. Iconic weapons though still have the same issue in that when you pick them up, they're scaled to your current level and to upgrade them to higher levels is going to need a lot of crafting materials. So try to hold off as long as possible from picking them up to get them at higher tier levels. It sucks, but that's how CDPR set it up. As a side note, even when you hit level 50 (now 60 with Phantom Liberty), there's still quite a lot of things to do.
On your way to #3 and 2, there is a Matrix themed goodie. About halfway between the Palms View Way Fast travel spot and the market entrance, there is a building with a big red diagonal beam on your left, marked by a beer belly skull face religious looking grafitti on the side of the building. Go up the little steps, there is some lame look like a vinyl record, but to the left there are red iron stairs. Follow those up and you'll find a deceased John Anderson. The shard tells about Orpheus helping him escape a building. Looks like this one fell to his death. There is loot on the other side of the wreckage as well.
Without too much of a spoiler, I'll just say you can find a stealthy route into the Wraith camp, bypassing most enemies on the ground level...just make sure you have some points in Tech to open doors. Take out 2 or 3 enemies and you can grab the Legendary mods quite easily...and since you do the Panam/Rescue side job fairly early in the game, they are a huge help.
Yes, the Problem Solver is obtainable during the Aldecaldo mission. I make sure to get it every time i play that mission. But that Nekomata with the Mad Max reference is nice too.
Ah maybe I picked it up during that mission too. Been a while since I played it in this playthrough. Good to know it respawns though. Yeah I hadn't heard anything about the mad Max Easter egg before finding it. Was a very exciting find!
@@SamBram That´s the weird thing, this gun always spawns two for some reason, at least that´s what happened for me. Not sure whether this was intentional from CDPR, but i have to assume it is, because it also happened in several different game versions, whether 1.0, 1.1 or 1.3.
There’s also a really cool wraiths gas mask sitting on a machine just before the stairs to the basement that doesn’t have an icon but you can still pick up.
Thanks for all your hard work in compiling all these excellent video tips for cyberpunk 2077. (Watching on Boxing Day ) having so much fun playing the game that I’ve neglected all my other games
Worth noting, while getting 4,5,6 at the wraith encampment, inside the big primary building you can find the only Wraiths Gasmask in the game. It'll be in top of some machinery and is very easy to miss, but it looks bad ass.
You can also get the problem solver on the mission where you rescue Saul, he’e the one talking the guy sat up on some crates right in the entrance of the compound, if you go into the garage to his right he will also come inside giving you an opportunity to get it quietly early game.
For most people to make 1 million in cyberpunk that’s all u really need. By get this amount all u need is to finish all the gig, a lot of cop work. And selling tons of guns and knifes and clothes. U will reach this num easily
Do you consider the katana on the roof during your escape from the hotel with Jackie a free gift? It's a good sword to get literally right at the start of the game. There is also the nice free handgun on the bed in the hotel room as well.
I got the armadillo schematic in a chest while doing the gig Backs against the wall. The lvl of the schematic is dependent on the crafting skill lvl. At 18 it’s legendary. I think at 14 it’s epic, and 9 it’s rare.
I found that crunch does more damage than pacifier. I did a lot of testing and crunch ‘s increase to the base damage gave more damage than having more crit damage.
I think equipping legendary short circuit adds insane crit damage. But yes, I would personally normally choose crunch across the board. Still, I think pacifier is an option at least worth having
My favourite 'hidden free gift' is more of an easter egg. In the motel where you find the lion tiger what ever he thinks he is. You can go there before hand or afterwards and there's a room in the smaller building you need i believe pretty high strength possibly 20/max and once you get inside there is two robots playing cards.
Thank you man! You as well! I've caught a few of your videos through my analytics which have been very enjoyable. You have an excellent voice for this sort of thing and I have a great respect for your anti clickbait approach (saw your post about the DLSS update which others of course rinsed for content). Hopefully Phantom liberty provides a decent opportunity for more videos, for you and me both!
Thank you for this!! Every time I watch one of these videos, I've more than likely discovered all of their "Hidden Locations." Your video had at least 5 that I didn't know existed, and was fun to watch!! Did you cover this in other videos? By Arasaka Tower above the roundabout, there is a Legendary Power shotgun lying in the grass. Look for the monks meditating and follow the green path. There's also the GTA San Andreas easter egg by River Ward's house near the tunnel on the train tracks that grants you Rare Green and Purple pants. These two aren't level specific. Level specific is the Legendary Genroji in the back room during the playing-it-safe mission. It's on your right-- through the door on the left side after Johnny realizes Smasher is around...
Glad that some were unknown to you! I'm the same with videos like this for Skyrim, haha. I've covered the Guts shotgun in my shotguns ranked vid and also a short about super jumping. Wasn't aware of the San Andreas easter egg though, will check it out. Thanks!
Some Tier 4 loot at gas station roof across the road of 1. Fast travel FUEL STATION (almost the further most fast travel location on map) you'll find 2 tier 4 weapons 2. Fast travel location ABANDONED FUEL STATION to the bottom right between a cement barrier with a ( 8=D )drawn on it and the acid tank youll find some tier 4 loot might come in handy in the future
I'm really hoping they add NG+ with Phantom Liberty. I have a full 100% save file where I've collected every gun, crafting spec, cyberware, etc. I'd love to soar through the game from the start with the cool shit I've gotten from watching your vids!
Surprised you didn't mention Guts. Its recoil is insane but for me there wasn't a single gun in the entire game that could beat its DPS with the help of occasional upgrades.
I was surprised by the lack of mentioning of that gun. Its what got me into playing Cyberpunk after Edgerunner and after you get technical abilities to 18 and get the legendary version I don't think there is another Shotgun that can compete with it. Run and gun Shotgun build eith the Guts is just so satisfying and fun
@Ceasar Cruz it wasn't an ability, it was a glitch. Plus that kick back stops working once you have Countermass and Gorilla arms(which is the optimal way to use a shotgun).
couple things. suprised you didnt mention the gang war location in this video as it provides purple crafting specs and weapons. also the scav camp smg can be gotten during panams quest the guy spawns near the shipping containers so you can silent cap him and steal the gun
I fast travel to "Pinewood Estates" as shown. No Legendary, best there was an epic and that's after save scumming many times. I even went back a save to fast travel there again. No joy. Am lvl 50 and maxed out. Strangely it seems whether or what truck was there affected the result. Was a Kanetsugu short sight and an emp grenade.
Damn, that's annoying. I'm sorry, it seems a lot of those boxes are a lot more random than I'd anticipated. Hopefully some of the 'gifts' are helpful nonetheless
For the Problem Solver, it is possible to get it when you’re rescuing Saul, but generally requires you going loud, which effectively happens regardless.
Plan B may cost one Eddie per shot….but regular pistol rounds cost 2-2.5 Eddie’s each so it’s actually a good deal with your ammo being more than 50% cheaper than normal
Either some of these are level dependent, progress dependent or were eliminated with the 2.1 update. For example the box on the roof of the Arasaka mansion was empty/nonfunctional. Nothing there. Also the item at 2:06 wasn't there, just basic loot.
Biketheft is insane in denmark. The lengths people will go. My mom had her bike stored in the back yard standard fence locked gate and so on. Someone managed to scale a 1-2 meter fence take the locked bike and threw it over the fence and ran off.
Since you didn’t mention it and I kinda like the feature as much as it’s creepy (kinda hard to put into words for me), let me tell you that - on PS5 at least - the controller vibrates uniquely while having Sir John at the ready. It should also be noted that options regarding censoring content have to be disabled, otherwise it won’t drop but a baseball bat (I think) will.
I found #23 the other day when looking for tarot cards. I saw the number 2023 in the building, and entered it in hoping it was the right number. Took a while to actually figure out how to get the tarot card. LOL
Just for the sheer amount of experience..I mean enemies, I love both the Wraith Compound and the Arasaka Factory. Especially when I got t the end of the game and still need to build my engineering up a bit before the final mission. "Grenades delivery service! We aim to obliterate!"
4, 5, and 6 are there during the main quest. The guy with the Problem Solver is immediately to the left of the main entrance during the main quest to rescue Saul.
Fun fact - thanks to Patch 2.0 some of these free gifts no longer work - i find the dropped legendary items but at picking it up they simply vanish, never to reach my inventory...
@SamBram: Can you clarify which patch version(s) you've checked these on? I know the Devs pulled a lot of Legendary stuff out that used to be "in the wild" before patch 1.5 or so. Are these all still in these locations as of Xmas 2022?
I use the Comrade's Hammer gun and minus the reload animation, it defo feels like Im using Johny's gun in 2023 by dealing up to 10k damage per bullet and it also really helps me conserve my ammo, I played like 20 diff gigs with this 1 gun and I didnt need to craft ammo at all because I was good at hitting my shots and I managed to pick the ammo I shot away back up as loot from enemies and it also allowed me to play more like me and go in agro while also having the ability to resort to range if need be, if you use a handguns build, get this gun and the perks to remove its only weakness, the massive recoil cuz once you take the recoil out, you will one shot every enemy nearby and since it's a tech weapon, you can easily pierce through enemies and walls allowing for good area damage, this gun imo just has it all and its my fav weapon after Johny's gun for sure
On one of my playthroughs i found armadillo crafting spec 5 minutes in to the game, on the roof of the little bulding next to the antenna before meeting Jackie. But it has only happend once.
The 'free' Caliburn supercar has a couple requirements, otherwise, it will not appear. You need to reach Street Cred level 40 and must have already completed the Panam mission "Ghost Town".
@@SamBram oh geez well that sucks. I have another question I’m at the point in the game where I have to meet anako at a restaurant. But when I got there it said something about progression and that if I entered the restaurant it would freeze my side missions until some point? What does that mean? Anyone know?
@@jaytee2716 It can be useful actually as a backup, provided you have enough money. That's the point of no return. You'll choose an ending and play through it for about 2 hours. You can return and choose other endings after, but I'd recommend completing all the main side questlines first. That way you'll have your pick of most/all possible endings
In blade runner it was K who went trough the walls so it might be the same case here that Morton is the one who threw or pushed his perpetrator out of the walls but still lost like in the movie
Hey there! I've been having some trouble running Cyberpunk 2077 on my computer. It's been a bit of a struggle with performance issues and lag. I've been following your channel for a while and really appreciate the insights you provide. I was wondering if you could consider making a video showcasing how Cyberpunk 2077 performs on Boosteroid. It would be really helpful to see if the game runs smoothly on that platform and if it could be a viable alternative for those of us experiencing difficulties on our own systems. Keep up the great work! Thanks!
on cloud gaming services it depends on your internet connection. Even with super fast connection there will be a small amount of input lag. The game its self will run fine.
@Sam Bram just trying to get 20 reflexes and the best katanas in the game trying to optimize speed as much as possible as when you move fast they can't hit you , too bad I haven't found the stealth camo that npc was using
The number 12 one is fixed. Its on the legendarys you can put up on your wall in the apartment. It is even marked as a Organized Crime site. So its it not very hidden.
So, i tried doing #24 and the box had a purple dot, not red, and its contents was a tire iron, soldering iron and a CS-1 Taipan (silencer?). At the time I checked it out I had a Street Cred of 50 and was Level 41. So, I'm not sure what needs to happen for someone to get the result Sam had in his vid here. #21 has a XC-10 Strix in the one box and Bloodbruiser in the other. So far, this vid isn't living up to its hype. Maybe it's because the vid is over a year old and the devs changed things with their updates by now. But it's really underwhelming now.
2.35. Just a quickie there fella. But eeerrrr what level were u at this point?? And what was Yr street cred ?? Cos I think if there NOT over 30 or 50 respectively we ain't getting these items at the best rates. And we SURE as hell arrive getting the Caliburn until we're level 40 Street cred!!
Finally the mystery is solved. I thought it's a bug when suddenly started losing money by shooting people. But this is a first time my stealth/netrunner character uses Plan B as main weapon.
Early game, focusing on encumbrance is key. Take EVERYTHING. ALL OF IT SELLS, and consumables take no encumbrance. My first 5 hours was kill everything take everything sell everything. Side missions pay way more than the pay out. Just sell everything.
