the AI def is not the strongside of the game. i had the impression though that with the ISMC mod and AI mods that had been running on several servers the AI felt a lil bit more natural but still... nothing out of the extraordinary.

I love how his "challenging" is bots snapshotting players, tracing them through walls, and god-pathing (knowing where players are without knowing where they are, and 'magically' finding them, acting surprised, and engaging).

Karmakut's servers mainly use ISMC, and improvedAI (on max difficulty) mod. It's incredibly challenging, and most people who are just jumping in PUB style will most likely die instantly, it really does require you have to have a coordinated team or else you're screwed.

The AI is just not smart enough for this to seem _realistic_ . It looks like they just have their accuracy turned up making them harder to play against. The paths that the AI take are so dumb sometimes - It’s like they’re suicidal. At one point you guys are pinned down in a building with shotguns and the enemy AI decides to walk right into the room single file all through the same door... you easily take out that whole squad with your shotgun. It’s like the AI’s train of thought is this: _If_ you hear gunfire-> walk to the place where gunfire was heard, _If_ you see the enemy -> shoot enemy Sadly it looks like the AI doesn’t consider any tactics like suppressing or even just grouping up.

tbf that's more realistic than most fps, I love how the RPG (or any other launcher) actually has backblast and the "rocket" works like an actual grenade where the area of effect is more than 1 meter from the explosion

@@sixmonthgaze135 for solo play? yes. If you are using mods you need to load the map/modes etc. thru the console. you can play with friends without buying a server, you just need to find one with enough open spaces. (Which standard matchmaking should handle if you party up first)

If they didn’t have the wave after wave that’d be ideal. They should have the enemy centralized around the objective (20-30 insurgents) and then you maneuver through the city clearing buildings/ adhering to the intel to find the next objective.

The AI is still unfortunately horseshit. Constantly lining up in doorways to get killed one by one. Rarely taking cover or flanking. The difficulty comes from the low TTK and the sheer number of bots.

I can tell you from experience that the Uzi really is that easy to shoot full auto. And yes even that accurately.

@@oodsigma4482 well yeah.. it's a pistol cartridge. But I can tell you from experience that shooting a m4 on full auto you won't even be on target. Let alone that AK

@@TomP-148 not sure what your experience level is but I've seen fairly inexperienced shooters keep a full auto M4 pretty on target. 5.56mm doesn't have much recoil anyway. Hold it properly and it's pretty damn controllable.
