Hello D.O. 🇺🇸😎 I personally have very British 🇬🇧 cool friends, glad that the cool U.K. veteran had alittle go with a fire side camp story with the squad. All the best! 2024 🇬🇧✨🇺🇸 ..................................................................... Jason B. Lincoln, N.E.🌱
According to the creators of the said simulator themselves... In my opinion, however, MilViz' Phantoms for FSX / P3D are much better - that's at least when it comes to flight and weight distribution modeling. You can even operate the J/S ones from the boat. Sadly, the guy behind their physics seems to have disappeared for good. I was hoping we'd see him surface in the DCS environment at some point, but for now that's apparently not the case.
As my first heatblur module - the quality is top notch. So many instant action scenarios for Caucasus and Syria , maybe others too but I only own Syria.
Fun fact: The boresight mode has three scan areas that are selected with the pinky switch. If you are in radar it scans right, heat it scans centre and guns it scans left. The nosewheel steering button will lock whatever is in front of that selected area.
They included an ingame manual, but true DCS impatients like me still go for YT tutorials whenever something isn't intuitive enough to just know what to do. Heatblur really knocked it out of the park with this one. The F-14 was good, but they found a way to do substantially better.
The game really came a long way looking back when it launched to current version. It could've been better, but it is what it is. Looking forward for Arma 4.
LMAO! Ah, poor Drewski, learning the hard way just how rubbish the old AIM-7 Sparrow air to air “guided” missile was. :) Funny part, they were still better than the originals in ‘Nam.
