25 MORE 1970's Fads You Almost Forgot, i need this now.... 

So many items are incorrectly dated, but I'm having fun "looking back"

I remember wearing the Dr. Scholl’s back in the mid 60’s. I always remember how painful it was to accidentally slip your foot on the edge of the Scholls and I was a kid back then.

OMG, my mom took "AYDS"....i remember those, lol.

The rabbit’s feet, marbles, oversized utensils, fake fruit, hula hoops, bike wheel motor sounds, & jumping beans (And More! lol) were Really popular when we were younger - in the ‘60s ….and we probably took them into the’70s. But they were definitely popular in the’60s too.

Some of these are from the 60's like troll dolls and rabbit foot key chains.

California raisins was like 88...so hopefully this error gets deleted. Infact the snack wells and rat tsil are around the same years in the 90s

Remember the clothes sizes , husky for boys and chubby for girls when you didn't fit the regular sizes? Talk about labeling a kid!😮

I had a CB radio in my car it was where I met my husband. Don't use it now because of the foul languag. Ayds diet candy did work. I hadn't thought about the California raisins in a long time. You brought back a lot of good memories. Thanks

I don't know who put this video together, but that bit about the rabbit foot keychains is wrong. I remember those being more popular in the 1960s, and I only saw them once or twice in the 70s. Peace rings was a 1960s thing.

Hey, cuckoo clocks have always been popular, not limited to 1970s. I bought one of those a few years ago so what are you talking about? I'll tell you what was popular in the 1970s: There was a surge in making and selling macrame items, especially planters, handbags, and wall hangings. People were into buying statuary and painting them. There were stores which sold statuary and statuary supplies that are non-existent today. By the way, I still have one of those koala bears you're talking about!

In the 1960s, they counted calories. There were products called Sego and Metrecal, diet drinks, even diet cookies.

I’m not sure if this is a 70’s thing, but I remember most of the girls in my school wearing gauchos in the 70’s. Denim and corduroy were the most popular. Banana seats were the most comfortable accessories for my Schwinn bicycle. Thanks for the memories.

When I started smoking cigarettes, it was a fad or a trend back then. I wish I never would have started smoking.🚬 I had a purple Schwinn Sting Ray and a sissy bar! Black lights and posters, platform shoes, Earth shoes and Dr. Scholls wooden sandals were a definite yes. Weed was illegal and running from the cops in platform shoes was tough.

When i was a kid, we took a lot of road trips. I can remember my dad always stopping at truck stops for coffee or meals and asking the truckers about cb reports on interstate traffic where we were headed😊. We met a lot of real nice people. The older truckers used to all give me silver dollars or fifty cent pieces. I guess cuz yhey had em for rest stop vending machines❤. I never understood why truckers had such a bad rep. All i remember is really sweet men everywhere from my dads age to older than my grandpa🥰✨❤️✨

When I was in high school from1979-82, the Dr.Scholl's sandals were all the rage and we loved the different colors. Nowadays, I don't wear open toe shoes of any kind. I'm too old to show my feet !!😄

The marbles were much earlier than the 70s.

Marshmallow Shoes, Thom McAn Earth Shoes, Ultra Sheen, Afro Sheen and Ultra Sheen cosmetics. TAB cola. Bell Bottoms, dog tag necklaces, head bands (terry cloth and polyester) and shiny faux satin track suits, skateboards everywhere.....

My mom mom mom and aunt worked at a klacker factory. They would get buzzy from the fumes of the plastic and put dead buga in the clackers

I very well recall the Koala bear clip on little toys. It's too bad you couldn't show a single example of them. Plush Koala bears have a fairly steady level of popularity but these were a very specific item that morphed into various other critters and storybook figures but the Koala was the original and most popular.

Whatever that rat tail is, it's not from the 1970's.

The research for this video is nonexistent. A few of the items are clearly from the 70s, but many more are from other eras or still popular now. Rabbit’s feet were around long before, as evidenced by the early 20th century ads shown. Steve Martin did not disintegrate in 1980. He is still a busy and popular entertainer. Who played with marbles past the 50s? And hula hoops were more of a 60s thing. I was born in 1953 and lived through these fads. I expected to be amused by this video, not bothered enough to write this kind of comment.

Platform shoes have been in and out of style since the 1930's, dangerous and ugly. Toys like hula hoops were around in the fifties and sixties! Marbles have been around forever!

70s had the worst fashions , ugly clothes, I had a hard time finding clothes that were classy!
