I’m surprised that you didn’t include “the night stalker” aka Richard Ramirez on this list. He is the reason why people in Los Angeles county started locking their doors. Before Richard, we never locked our doors or windows. We would leave the house go on vacation or the supermarket while the doors were unlocked. In the summers we would sleep with the windows open all night. That all changed on that one faithful night when we saw the news about a serial killer called the night stalker. I think that alone deserves a spot on this list.

Pedro Filho. Guy had a body count of 100+. Thing about him is he was a real life Dexter. He killed killers, pedophiles, rapists etc. I think he killed like 50 people AFTER he was imprisoned. And what even more wild is that they eventually set him free. He was killed a few months ago via a drive by shooting.

Leslie Rule, daughter of Anne, wrote in one of her books of her meeting Ted Bundy. Leslie and 2 friends were visiting her mother at the Seattle helpline one evening. Mom introduced them to her coworker and friend Ted. Leslie’s 2 friends thought Ted was dreamy; Leslie thought he was icky. She had good instincts.

How can you say God bless the victims families? Does reality escape you? How could God sit in his majestic seat of authority above all creatures and he alone, according to Christianity, holds life and death in his hands let these fucking sickos commit these heinous crimes. That would be the biggest slap in the face to bless (whatever that means) the families of these victims after letting their loved one ones be subjected to such depravity. Wake-up and realize what you are saying!!! There is no God sitting on high judging us as his simple subjects while we suffer. That would make God a sadist.

I follow true crime avidly and have never heard of # 18. That one truly fits thus list. And the punishment fir #15 shoukd be applied to all the killers on this list - allowing the families of the victims to wall the monsters in.

The Servant Girl Annihilator of Austin Texas. He may have had a lower body count, but his brutality was bad. Some suggest he could've been Jack the Ripper too.

We will never know but in my opinion the last two murders were the husband/father using the murders as a cover to kill his wife and daughter. And I believe the police killed the real killer when he was caught in the act later. As to the Ripper connection, there really is no reason to think so, since literally everything about the murders is totally different. iirc it was just newspaper suppositions.

@@hotsaucemtkb575 That is a good question. Patricia Cornwell made a good point for the artist guy. I heard another one was a guy who worked for the morgue, Robert Mann. He had tuberculosis and died in 1896. I would say that TB in that time, would make it hard for someone to continue a killing spree the last few years of his life. I am not qualified to say who did it, but I do read things about it. I'm not obsessed about it like my wife had been, I just listen to people who are make their cases. As to my suggestion, Steven Saylor wrote a book about the Servant Girl Annihilator called A Twist at the End: A Novel of O. Henry. Living in Austin as I do, and the writer who used the pen name O Henry, he didn't put a period after the "O" like I believe Saylor did.

Of the 25, I only knew of 3 - it's absolutely unreal how the 22 other bastards did what they did and their 'reason' for doing it. I am a person interested in the solving of crimes. I do not enjoy reading or hearing about killers, only the capture there of. I can understand how difficult this was for you. My way to fight against their horribleness is to remember the victims and not mention the names of the killers.

Holy Crap! I don't know about anyone else, but number 35, Leonard Lake and Charles NG reminds me of the movie Gothika. Like the description almost matches the movie to a T, with the main character being named Miranda and the same stuff happening in a location eerily similar to the real life tragedies.

The movie about Gacy(played brilliantly by Brian Dennison) was very close to the facts. Worth the watch. Bundy played so well by Mark Harmon was also quite good and worth the watch. This video is a very nice teaching tool. Thanks Mike✌️

Two you should have included are Ed Gein and the Zodiac Killer. What’s interesting about the Zodiac Killer is that he has never been officially identified. A couple of months ago, the FBI claimed to have identified a suspect as the killer, but it’s unknown if this is true.

What a chilling list you read Mike. There were only 5-6 killers I didn't recognize from the 25 posted. You know a list of horrific killers is gonna be jaw dropping if Lake and Ng are number 25 (cuz those 2 are seriously f*cked in the head). Confirmed kill counts can be tricky to verify,especially those in other countries;it's been argued that Pedro Lopez killed 500 kids and young people (mostly girls) by targeting poorer areas and pretending to be lost and offering sweets or a little money to the kids who showed him where to go. Keep up the great work Mike and crew,your lists are awesome.

The guy in the passenger seat of Randy Kraft's car was dead. Kraft was one of 3 serial killers who were all given the moniker "The Freeway Killer" along with William Bonin and Patrick Kearney.

I was living in Seattle when Gary Ridgeway was killing. I had a newborn daughter, and was terrified to be there. Because of that, and some other reasons, I packed my stuff, and me daughter came back home to Illinois.

Can we replace the Doctor (all muder is bad, don't get ne wrong) with Robert Pickton? While murder is horrible, dearh by morphine is less terrifying than death by stabbing and antifreeze and torture as Pickton's victims suffered. Pickton had parties during which others were invited to join the "fun".

maybe these murderous people felt whilst growing up that they were helpless and constantly frightened, being neglected or abused made them complex messes of feelings that came out in murder, as they are not brave people, they want easy prey, and probably want to be powerful and to feel better about being alive, If they were able they would be aware that they have merely transferred their childhood experiences into their adult life, and instead of escaping their traumas they have merely recreated them, perpetuating their own destruction, but taking others with them on their mad murderous life ...
