Edison didn't invent nearly as much as people think he had an entire staff if invented, engineers and scientists and he stole and took credit for everything that came out of the group, truth be told, Edison was kind if a dick
My cat nudges and bites me when my blood sugar is low while i sleep. He only ever does it when my blood sugar is low. He goes nuts until i wake up and he wont leave me until my blood sugar is back up.
My Dad a similar reaction to his face in the mirror. He was entering late stage dementia. He kept trying to tell me there were other men who looked like him, looking back at him. I totally thought it was just the disease.
Another fun fact. In Japan on the 15th of March at the shrine of Kanayama in Kawasaki, they hold the Hounen Matsuri or Kanamara Matsuri or the "PENIS FESTIVAL."
Yes, I do. When I moved into a new house I had to have the full length mirrors all over the closet door removed. I'm not talking about on the inside of the door. I'm talking about the mirrors on the sliding closet doors facing the room. I thought it was just me. No one in my family understood why I needed them removed. I also avoid the mirrors in my bathroom as much as possible.
Ignore the music comments if you were supporting a working artist and licenced the music for good money. But, maybe reevaluate the music choice for mass appeal. I personally didn't mind it, however. Was it done in house for you guys or did you select something from the bigger pond? Great vid as always! Fun and informative.
I always heard that Indigenous men kept their hair long because it aids in helping them "smell" their prey while hunting or "smell" danger much better than those with short hair.
Emoticons were invented and proposed mid-19th century by a Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz during his lectures at Sorbonne University, Paris, France. The emoticons were proposed as the signs facilitating the readers from other cultures to read the Polish literature of 17th and 18th centuries. In 1930s Emoticons were proposed again by another Polish poet, Julian Tuwim, who even designed the wink emoticon (different than that we use today). Thus, emoticons have much longer a story than we may think of.
I can definitely state the mirror fact as such as I have a mirror phobia and cannot look directly into one. I also know that it is an irrational fear, but I see other people I do not wish to, and, therefore, steer clear of mirrors...the same goes for webcams.
The heartrate thing doesn't surprise me at all. I have trouble with aerobic exercise because the raise in heartrate triggers anxiety attacks if I'm not careful. And while there's definitely a history of negative experiences that could contribute, I don't think getting bullied in P.E. and recess as a kid is quite enough to explain it by itself.
Another annual winter event in Canada is the polar bear swim. Jumping into freezing water in the middle of winter. Yes, we're either crazy, or tough, or both.
@user-vm5ud4xw6n YES, We have it here on Cape Cod , they do it on New year's day...and in fact it is on the front page of The Cape Cod Times every year. It's a pretty big event with every age imaginable participating.
For some of those, I found myself just staring blankly at the vid and going, "What the _what?!"_ 😳 Plus, that mirror thing made me think of that creepy "game" called Bloody Mary; I almost half-expected you to mention it... 😅 No way am I _ever_ trying that; it's just asking for trouble... Plus, it gives me the creeps in the worst way... 😖
Always love Mike's reactions to the things he has to read. Nothing like your family hearing you talk about the dildo industry while trying to keep a straight face.
First documented gambling mentioned in Mahabharat story from India more than 3000 BCE. Using dice between Pandava n Kurava. The even found the dice strangely in England
I dont wash my hands in public but I do use sanitizer It grosses me out touching the paper or soap dispensers and don't get me started on the air dryers I'll stick with my sanitizer
Why can’t a group of people eat dolphins? It clearly was centuries ago and frankly I don’t see anything wrong with it. Similarly I don’t see why people have a fit about those who eat rabbits, or horse meat, or even whale blubber.
Female Gladiators only fought other women for obvious reasons and were really not all that popular to the Romans. Though it must have been fun to watch.
I turned off all my spell check, suggestion etc options on my phone. I would rather someone think i misspelled something than have the wrong word make sonething completely nonsensical ...or horse ovaries.
OK, what do you think the odds are that those are actually bones from the Buddha? Not A Buddha… THEE Buddha!! Chances have to be slim to none. The odds have to be astronomical. HOWEVER!!, If they are the bones of thee Buddha, what an incredible discovery! Those are actually some artifacts worth seeing! Worth traveling to see... I hope they can somehow Figure out if they truly are
My understanding from articles on the great garbage patch is that most of those 1.8 trillion pieces are microscopic pieces of plastic. So even tho its a thing its not like a big pile of trash float8ng around that can be seen with the naked eye. Another misrepresentation of the environmental nuts. The earth is actually way way cleaner than it was 50 years ago, especially in the USA.
Yes it is. Nothing happens for nothing. The first thing may be an accident but the second is deliberate and your fingers know exactly where they’re going.
Och aye, laddie! Ne’er call a kilt a skirt unless you want a fight on your hands. So perhaps the rest of the world may do it, never will bonny Scotland. Enjoy your videos as always.
