I decided to drive further up the road and fish one of the upper pools before heading home. I hooked this 5lb Rainbow on the first cast. I had to try and prevent him from going too far downstream, as there was a windfall across the stream. This fish is close to the limit of this 3 weight Euro Rod, but it did the job.
