CRYSTAL CLEAR FARM POND has INSANE FISHING! 

Man, there’s just nothing like being able to see it play out. Sight fishing is so fun. And you can learn so much about how they respond when you can see it all play out. Those big buffs are fun! I like kitty in the vid.

Good ol’ NE farm ponds and sand pits. Clear as can be. Grew up on these things. I think it’s funny you both cast and reel those baitcasters right-handed. Thanks for another good video!

Your cat is cute. I like the chunky face, lol. I see fish in my farm ponds all the time We have some big hawgs in our farm ponds. My brother pulled out a 6.3lb largemouth. We stock it with bait fish like red ears which is why they get so big and average 3.5 - 4 lbs

~~You&Dad ever go to Angostura? If anything, it's nice getaway w/something like 45 miles shoreline? It's about 40 minutes outside Chadron another 40 from Custer State Park. Could take Mom&Yours make a week of it? There's a few lakes,ponds&creeks on the way to Rushmore where if you do go? The coolest&best route to take in is Iron Mountain Road, I won't give it away but it's well worth it as long as you keep an eye going through the tunnels up there. I'd be surprised if your parents haven't been there? Haven't been there since Grandparents passed.

Sadly, water isn't clear where I fish a lot of times. Also, a lot of times you don't see the fish you just have to work lure the best you can. If you catch it you did something right. 😊

I would LOVE to throw some of my little glidebaits in that clear pond! I like the Nebraska edits man, I haven’t been back in a long time!

I find the best bait for shallow, clear water bass, that you can see, is a straight tail worm or senko in a solid color, texas rigged, without a weight on spinning gear. That, or a fluke, fin-s/slugo type bait. Especially in the conditions you were fishing with weed mats and bushes on the edge. Excellent fishing!

How did they get it so clean? Usually, farm ponds look like coffee with extra cream.
