Unfortunately, the human populations becoming too many on the continent of Africa, and for every major land for that matter. And elephants a very intelligent, species . very sad for every species that goes extinct because of humanity this world loses a treasure.unfortunately human beings anyway always choose themselves over any living thing on this planet. Truth be told next to three generations of people are gonna have a harder time than we do . now getting by i and surviving. But the next generation or two are gonna have try to fix it, or try to save this world from ourselves, and for ourselves. that’s why it’s so important to support world wildlife fund and humanitarian aid and education is so vital for the future of this world, the future children. Kind of makes you think what legacy are you leaving behind?😢😮😊.

@@shadowmaster335 .... let me get this straight. There is a lack of common sense because people are greedier. There are writinga going back hundreds , if not thousands, of years decrying greed in society. Its one of the "seven deadly sins" (two of them if you count gluttony). And this was all during the centuries of common sense you harken back to. Nt seeing a correlation there.

Fact check this. Our concrete is derived from rock quarries. Sand can be used as well. The rock quarries provide abundant and almost unending supply of suitable sand. If anybody’s ever driven on I80 near Chicago. The highway crosses a quarry. It’s still providing the concrete materials for that huge city. Now sand is also needed for glass. But the sand as he said has to be high quality and clear. Mainly the silica. But there’s an endless supply of that sand in our oceans. Height quality silica rich sand. And can be mined similar to oil drilling. So cost wise still feasible. We are not running out of the low quality sand needed for asphalt. So I think he’s confused asphalt and concrete. If you’ve every driven from east to west you’ll see the color change of asphalt. As the asphalt drys and ages In probably the most noticeable is Oklahoma. The asphalt has a very reddish tint. Or looks more like the soil around. It’s the dirt used not really sand.

Here’s a solution for the peanut problem. We’ve been destroying forests, trees to build solar farms. In huge acreage. Plant the peanuts under the solar panels. The shade will lower the temperature and light travels in all directions so they will still get the sun light they need. The water they need. Instead the ground beneath these solar farms grow weeds that have to periodically be groomed. So they don’t damage the equipment. But the soil was rich enough to have bread a forest with all the different plant life that goes with it, before cutting it all down.and the plant life still got enough sun light to thrive underneath the trees canopy. So peanuts should survive as well.

If you want to go even geekier, antibiotics specifically fight bacteria. “Germs” can be bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc. - kind of an umbrella term. Antibiotics don’t kill viruses, fungi, etc., which is why we have antivirals and antifungal preparations available.

The bees the most at risk are cultivated bees, that is the honey bee, after that wild bees like bumblebees are also dwindling. Mono culture and destruction of wild flora, are the major causes, along with excessive use of pesticides. You can do your own bit, to help if you have a back or front garden/yard or balcony, grow plants that bees like and don't use artificial pesticides. Even a roof garden or actually keeping bees are a good idea.

We should be growing more food inside under specialist agricultural conditions, because growing stuff outdoors has always meant risk. Maybe we should create more resilient plants, like we did in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with farm animals, just by crossbreeding. I'm not convinced that GM is the way, because there have been several fails, through the use of it. Straightforward cross breeding has already created many of the safe varieties of fruit and vegetables in our food stores.

@BreadApologist
@BreadApologist 6 месяцев назад
@@secretskater855 Actually it seems from the writers being asked about it, he just didnt....choose to do that but couldve. A character flaw ish thing? Quote from article: ""People have asked us why Thanos didn't just use the stones to double the resources in the universe, since clearly he has not," co-director Joe Russo said on the Avengers: Infinity War commentary track. "No, it's about free will," screenwriter Stephen McFeely said. "That doesn't solve their problem. We're just gonna get there millions of years from now. And this is an opportunity for people to get it right. And he trusts them."" Even that seems dumb tho, wouldnt the population just eventually regrow anyway? Leading to the same problem as if he doubled it? Im not familiar with the full lore workings of the gauntlet. Would also seem he coulda just.......quintupled the resources or more till itd be like a few billion years before running out. Though in the end double or reduce population, they both work. Only issue I had with his plan is that the whole unbiased / random choice thing for who gets poofed, has major issues. Like for example: Currently airborne pilots, passengers on them, nuclear reactor staff, anyone handling very dangerous materials, everyone driving a vehicle of any sort. People with special knowledge of vital systems, doctors during operations......all that put together would result in exponentially more deaths than planned. Oh and of course "half of all life in the universe" So as bad as all the unintentional devestation is on earth, how many alien races in marvel universe would face similar catastrophes?

We need to vote to switch over to the Roman concrete building method. We finally reverse engineered the Roman concrete. It's basically made with seawater volcanic ash sand and quicklime.. this mixture leaves undissolved limestone in the mixture and when hairline cracks start to form and water enters those cracks it reactivates the Limestone and seals up the cracks as they form. Essentially it's a self-healing concrete and is far more durable and longer lasting than traditional concrete that may last centuries instead of just decades.

I'm surprised you didn't mention crude oil. In only another 30 years or less, all of the crude oil will be gone. No more cars, trucks, trains, airplanes , construction, ocean-going ships. The whole world today that runs on oil in a myriad of different ways, comes to a stone-age stop. Nothing left on earth but a few scattered survivor colonies who can manage to grow enough of their food. This IS, going to happen
