A little tip regarding wasps for anybody that doesn't know: Shake your trees from below (i.e., approach from the south by pressing up on the stick, just to be clear) with your net in your hands. If a wasp nest drops, your character will automatically turn towards it and do the "gasp!" expression. Repeatedly press the A button starting anywhere during the "turn and gasp" and you will just about always catch the wasps without having to aim or time your swing. Again, I know lots of people might already know this, but for the one player that didn't, I hope it helps you out :3

I know I'm late but, Tip: shake from the front of the tree and then if a wasp drops spam "a" and you will totally catch it.

Easy tip while looking for Celeste: Do a group stretching session, if she is not there, she is not on your island. If she is there however, then start searching.

Here's a tip I have. Save all 5 wasps per day in your storage or somewhere until flick comes. you will get 1.5x as many bells. I should note that wasps are worth 2500 bells each.

A thing I do everyday is cleaning up sticks left from trees each day. They appear each morning and if you want to keep your five star rating you need to clean it up. And I go into my villagers houses to see if they are sick or crafting.

"I play my way, you play yours" made me immediately subscribe. That attitude is key!

Also remember to check the beaches for your message in a bottle :)

Tip: I recommend walking to the front of the tree, if a wasp nest falls and you’re on the side, with personal experience it’s more difficult, but when you’re in the front of the tree and a wasp nest falls, you can just press A due to your character rotating so they’re in front of the wasp nest. Hopefully this helps 🙂

Don’t forget to the beach to collect the daily message in a bottle DIY recipes, also collecting the shells, crafting them, and selling them can make lot s of money. I also check if it’s a day that my trees or pumpkins fruit.

What I do every day : -Turn the game on -Stare at the screen for 20 mins trying to figure out what im going to do that day. -Turn the game off out of frustration of being too lazy to do anything.

Meanwile what I do: run around Grab stuff Talk to my villagers Catch and sell a cuple bugs&fish Dig up fossils Occasionally donate something Mostly thats it

I’ve had the game since last year, but just started playing two days ago. This really helped me as far as planning goes

Always stand in FRONT of trees when shaking them! You'll be automatically turned to face the wasps, with the perfect distance to catch them immediately! No more stings! :D

Quick tip! Timmy and Tommy will short you the cost of fish, bugs, fossils, and other items if you offer them more than 3 in one sale. PLEASE be sure to get fossils checks before selling and only sell them 2 or 3 at once. It can be time consuming but trust me, they will pay less for the same items if you try to sell more than 2 or 3 at the same time.

About the "shaking every tree" thing: If there's a stick that spawned next to a tree, there's something in that tree (bells, wasps, furniture). This saves time for shaking every single tree! Unsure if it's 100%, but it works most of the time, and im fairly certain is an actual thing, and not just luck I've had.

1:29 bugs like bagworms and spiders can spawn in fruit trees however!!

Wow! I love your island! I've only been playing for a couple weeks, so your island looks AMAZING! I hope to get more advanced over time.

Some really useful tips that I didn't know about, only been playing for a month but already got a full population. I always do the fossil hunting and shopping every day but didn't know about the turnip prices changing in the afternoon or the black flowers spawning gold ones, think I'll even have to brave shaking trees everyday.

Mean while this is what I do: - Shop so much and buy pretty much everything on my island because I have no self control - Realize I have no money left because I didn’t do any of the outdoorsy stuff that earns bells - Look for fossils and hope that I already have them in my museum - Do some fishing - Talk to villagers

This video was great, thanks for the tip about the iron wall lamp! About the golden rose tip: once a black rose has been watered (with a golden can), it retains something that some people call a "gold flag". What that means, is that until that black rose has produced a gold rose, it has the ability to produce a gold rose, even if you haven't watered it in weeks. if it has a gold flag, then it will always have the ability to produce a gold rose until it finally produces one (although, it does need to be watered, just not with a gold can). So, that might not have been very clear lol, so if you want it explained better, AustinJohnPlays has a great video with a section near the beginning where he talks about it. The video is the one with his new apiary in the title and thumbnail. thanks again for the video, I loved it!

I do most of the stuff you do on your daily routine, in addition to purchasing at least one Nook Miles ticket and visiting an island. I collect fish, sea creatures, and weeds first, only securing resources (woods, rocks, iron, clay, etc.) and bugs if my inventory isn't full. I may do this more than once a day at the moment, especially since I'm working to pay off the basement loan for my home. Your tips for times to check in are very helpful, and I hope to remember them for the future! :)

My daily routine: 1. talk to villagers. For hours. And HOURS. 2. Spend all my nook miles on nook tickets. 3. Travel to many islands, looking for Raymond. 4. Cry because I can’t find Raymond. EDIT- a lot of people are harassing me because i was looking for raymond. the reason im so desperate to get him is because me and my friend are racing to see who can get him first. there are definitely a lot of villagers i prefer.

A little tip to store things quicker. Press up once instead of down 2-3 times. Seems minor but when storing a full inv it saves time.

Here's a tip for everyone just in case you didn't know: When going into your home to empty your things into your storage, or it can also work when dropping items outside, press your joystick upwards and it will automatically bring it down to "put in storage" and/or "drop item". It's so much easier, and a life saver for me. You're welcome 🥰

Super helpful! I learned a trick to cut back on how many trees you have to shake to find the items each day. If you have between 17-20 non fruit trees, it's easier and faster to find the bells, wasps, and furniture 😊

Just a tip that I learned yesterday. When you shake a tree and the wasps come out, just start clicking A. Your character will automatically turn towards the bees so if you just keep clicking A you should catch the wasps every time. Don’t try to run. Since I learned this, it’s worked every time.

Another tip for shaking trees: you can shake them more than once and they drop things. They may drop things infinitely but of course every time something falls it takes more shakes the next time. So shaking all the trees may take a while if you want their full potential

tip for catching the wasps: stand exactly in front of the tree. when the wasps come out, the game will automatically change your direction to the wasps and all you have to do is spam the a button
