When a team mishears a word it should not cost the team a word to correct it. She said 'beard', they heard 'beer'. When she realized that she should have been able to say 'bearD' without penalty.
I think it'd be a slippery slope. If you let them repeat words they already gave, they could say it over and over to put emphasis on it and use that as strategy, etc. My question is, is something like "ice cream" one word or two?
@@Bayouma777 Damn, that sucks. I know it's not a compound word but it's one idea so it sucks in a game like this that you can't use it as a clue if you've opted for a limited amount of words.
"Complaining Kay" is at it again, constantly finding fault with the game. The easier thing to do would be for the clue-giver to ANUCIATE his or her words so that there's no mistaking what's said. I know you want to try to take away every single thing that you perceive as "unfair" in the game, but you're just promoting laziness and irresponsibility. This is a WORD game, and the contestants need to use their words properly and concisely. It's pretty simple.
@@deejay8403 And there is a rule that contestants can repeat the word if the other contestants said, "What was that? I didn't hear you." Like if they were guessing the word at the same time and talked over them. But the other contestants literally have to say, "Can you repeat that? I didn't hear you." If they think they heard the word but have misheard it, that was an enunciation problem, like you said, and will cost them another word to fix.
In the final round - around 17:00 Joshua gave the correct answer and was not credited! This game has SERious judgement call issues and rule inconsistencies. I LOVE this show! But they have GOT to get their act together!
Kay De, you really need to make sure you're correct when you criticize someone about something, and you sure do complain an awful lot. It's very easy to hear that Joshua said "slip," not "split." Notice how he never even contested it at the end. Please, get YOUR act together.
