Thanks for loading this up. Brings back lots of memories of Saturday afternoons in front of the box even back in the old B & W days. Wonderful to see Kent again.
Yes, it's a wonderful time of lifetime time of lifetime for a Saturday afternoon four pm in front of the box, as you say, with a can of Younger's Tartan Bitter and another one in the cupboard for a nicetime time of lifetime time of nice.

40 years ago and so many wrestlers have now passed away. Even Young David died in 2002 aged only 39. He started off skinny as hell and ended up bloated by steroids. Refs Dave Reece and Jeff Kaye have also gone. King Ben (not Benn!) was Ben Boothman who's son was Mark 'Kid' McCoy. His bout should have decided by the ref on points.
Typical ITV World of Sport...trying hard to make something recorded look "live". But even as a kid of 8 I knew it wasn't kosher. Loved it of course, and Cup Final Day was a real national event in those days, not the joke it has become now.
that is what I call the art of wrestling which it's identity is Britain not like American wrestling which is empty of wrestling actions just using more talk in the microphone and focusing in the power anger
