I love how they communicate!! Chance has really grown through this whole show. Do you all remember when they were in the apartment (Tab’s 1st videos) and he came in from work and said,”don’t be telling them folks our business, we don’t even know them”! In other words “where’s my dinner”? 😂😂 Now look and listen to him!! But God!! They both bring so much to the marriage table. May God bless them for 25+ years🙏🏾❤️

I LOVE Black Love. My husband & I are in our forty-first year. Even at 63yrs.old, I still learn. I learned from Chance that men are more prone to do something out of necessity, having to prove something. For him, it started out proving to father-in-law, that he was capable of caring for you. For my husband it was proving to my mother, the mother-in-law. Love you Tab & Chance!!!

The thing that helped my husband and I the most was, when we first got married we lived in Hawaii and there was no family or friends around so we had to figure it out by ourselves. The best thing that could’ve happened for us 🙌🏾 Going on 10 years this year!

When I say everyone has a story, this is my husband and I story. We will be married for 32 years next month May 2023, and been together 35 years. When people say, “oh I wish I had your relationship”. I’ll be like no you don’t. But we are still together.😂

Married 26 years this year, I can relate to what they’re saying. I am a bit older, a bit taller and a bit fatter than my spouse, as much as I was liked , even loved by his family, I believe they thought we were a passing fancy. Me and him closed ranks turned out the noise and here we stand still loving each with two adult sons 19 and 22. We’ve been through storms, rains, sunshine outweighs it all.

Congratulations, 33 years over here!! It’s definitely a journey, we got married at 19 and 18! We have 5 beautiful children , praise God for the journey! We definitely had doubtful outsiders .

My husband and I will be celebrating our 24th anniversary in May with 34 years together, and so true the road was not easy, but one thing I know for sure in all our years together we have never disrespected each other with our words or physically!!! The wedding ceremony they attended was definitely a pivotal point in the relationship. I didn't grow up with an understanding of a woman's role and a man's role so when I was presented with marriage I didn't know what my role was, I just went for it. Men have an innate sense of responsibility to lead even when marriage isn't a model in their upbringing. Chance was ready to do the work. Tab was already in position,she was trained up in a way to be a wife by her daddy.

Hey Tab. Just watched this episode and so relate. My husband and I have been married for 41 years and just like you, we have for the most part done this on our own with very little input from family over the years. We had to do it on our own and yes the first 7 - 10 years were rough but we had to make it through because it was about more than just the two of us. We had children and we took our commitment to our family very seriously. We look back now and are grateful for the storms that we overcame together because they have strengthened us as individuals and as a couple. Folks look at us as relationship goals too but like you I advise them that it took a lot to get us here so be prepared to do the work. Wishing you many more years of happiness together. Facing homelessness etc no friends or family; we lived in Glendale California for 8 years. Last year we got swayed back to North Carolina and lost everything came back to California to get away from a very toxic family situation. We were homeless again for 2 months been in our place now since August. We've been through so much together and keep persevering as I try to live out my dream and he does the best he can as an veteran/IT.
