After seeing this run I was so inspired that I went to the gym and hit PRs on every lift while just watching this video on my phone. I then went for a marathon run and finished off the day by running through a brick wall in an attempt to capture a fraction of the alpha energy and power that is on display here
custom menu swaps: attack, *warband seer* attack, *warband berserker* or in your case archer instead of seer if you do berserker > archer > seer it's so nice to be able to roughly click on the stack and always hit the melee first
Too true, this is a great piece of info. I think I’m gonna make a guide for preparing for the colosseum, talking about the plugins, settings and tile markers people use and this should be in there as well! Thank you for the reminder ❤️ hope your colosseum journey is going well!
Hahaha man I had such a nice solve and then I totally botched it and just got lucky. I was so bummed about that! It was a clean run until then hahaha but I'm glad it worked out
@@RumblingStarter hahahah it can! I promise! 😂❤️ as a learner I 100% recommend NW pillar and there’s a lot less intense wave starts there! 😌 gl on your journey, would love to hear about it!
@@ProudestDadOSRS I struggle with consistent mage blocks (mostly because I panic if I’m dealing with manticore + ranger). I find that going straight east into the pillar from the mage block tile avoids the issue of the mino playing tetris with the stack but sometimes the solarflare can ruin things if its in an unlucky position
@@Shaithydollarz I kind of treat it like a blob from the inferno, meaning that im fine with tanking a hit or two from the shaman if need be. if it lasts that long, likely the mino is pulled all the way over already and it is probably not gonna kill you as long as you keep everything else in check. still trying to get this nailed in my head.. as you can see hahahaha. I appreciate the straight east advice though, I'm gonna work on implementing that into my further runs
The main difference is that you can rotate both sides of the pillar as long as you can solve stacks quickly so you can melee only pretty easily, and the mage block you can do on 10 and 11 in order to get the minotaur to come down first every time is amazing!! : ) NW is great for learners and should be used for most cases for sure - the RNG you can get on that pillar for spawns is really good. You'll only have to deal with double south spawns rarely, where as it's very common with SW. GL on the grinds and thanks for watching! :)
In this setup specifically it wasn't so I opted for the cheaper option but it'll also work! Just dont forget your sanfews :) Thanks for watching and goodluck on your grind!
Hey shroom! I don’t understand what you’re asking, can you give me a time stamp to look at to reference and I can explain? Much love brotha thanks for watching
@@ProudestDadOSRS it was just in some waves, the minotaur would spawn but no mager along with it. I think I realised its because that happens on later waves though, if im correct?
Realistically, how viable is it to learn Colosseum in this gear setup? I wanna try it but also don't have a lot of time throughout the week to do runs. If getting better gear makes it way easier to learn i'd rather do that
It’s truly more than doable in this gear - I was actually surprised it only took me slightly over 30 minutes. I would of course upgrade as much as you can, ie bring some dclaws to spec NPCs + sol, maybe some better melee gear where you can upgrade, but you don’t need a huge budget to be able to get in there and start making some gp! The nature of the content being so short really makes it approachable for someone with little time during the week too.
@@J0sh351 hey there! Honestly I really like both - they both have great uses. As a learner though, I’d look into the NW pillar :) you can get really good spawn luck and if you learn the A+B offtick method, you can guarantee every solve
