Any time! I've watched hundreds of guides related to high-level-content and always find them to be somewhat intimidating. High level techniques are not necessarily required to complete high level content! EZPZ inferno guide coming soon :) It can be even easier than the colosseum
I have to say, Ive tried doing the colosseum without any guide or help and got at wave 8 max with barely any restores or brews left. This guide popped up today on my feed and here I am now, easily reaching wave 11 with quite a lot of resources left. All thanks to you! Amazing guide man, keep it up ❤
Love to hear it! This method seems to give very spooned spawns a ton of the time. Very happy to hear that you are finally making it to wave 11 with a good amount of supplies. You will be getting tons of Sol Heredit practice any time now, I'm sure of it!!
I've been watching a lot of Colloseum guides from Gnomonkey, Wizzy, Molgoatkirby, etc. I keep getting destroyed, which is fine. Thats part of learning. But I really want to just get the quiver and go back to some other goals I've had, then revisit this the melee/speed way later. So far, this guide makes the most sense. You're great at explaining things at an understandable pace, the Bob Ross of PVM if you will. Gonna give this method a shot and hopefully get some boss practice in. Keep it up! I subscribed :)
just don't watch gnomonkey, that guy expects you to be a pro from the beginning and just gives off this ultra annoying elitist vibe, to learn this kind of vid are best, also molgoatkirby has decent ones.
You’re an absolute legend! This guide was so chill and easy to watch. I got my Quiver after 50 deaths and on my 3rd Sol fight. I will def be using your guides moving forward. The Bob Ross of OSRS guides haha.
Only guide that got me to wave 10 first time watching ! Amazing work bro!! the 3 stack reset to opposing pillar was 900iq it went so smooth :) I got the quiver in a few more runs!
@@VideoGameBot I meant to say I WILL get the quiver in a few more runs after making it to wave 10 with your guide. Very stress free method thanks again! :D
How was this compared to inferno? I got maxed gear for range/mage but no torva or scythe. I don’t have inferno and I’m afraid to even waste 1 month wiping there.
@@cheebusify IMO Its similar. There are simple methods to solve inferno with very minimal stress as well. I will be making an inferno guide in the near future as well. Probably gonna break it into 3 parts (wave 1-50, wave 51-68, and zuk). What I like about the colosseum is you get rewarded while learning. And it is a much shorter run. It is hard for me to say which one is "easier". But I know for a fact that they can both be made much simpler than many of the meta strats may lead you to believe.
Thank you, finally a real guide that isn't just someones full run with no explaining. Most are either that or over-explaining. This guide has some really good practical advice.
Glad I got to catch this, and thanks for the guide, I've a feeling I'll be using it in the next few days - the way you explain how to do these makes so much more sense than a lot of guides I've seen!
You did a great job explaining all the small details. Especially knowing how they will end up stacking on pillars and when to go diagonal. Also making sure to start the wave on first tick. Awesome video!
THROUGH ALL OF THE GUIDE I WATCHED THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BESTS!!!! IMAGINE I GRIND COLOSEUM 7 DAYS 14 HRS A DAY AND DIDNT EVEN MANAGE TO PASS WAVE 8 AND NOW I GOT MY FKING QUIVER,, THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Learning a lot from this. Didn't even know what a "solve" was prior to this content and nobody really bothers teaching it. For example how you used the enemy main tile, which I knew impacted why it couldn't attack you, to be able to barrage it while safespotted? Genius. Had no idea. I was just getting crap solve after crap solve with very little idea what to actually do about it. Should still learn Leviathan before I try to get past wave 3 so I can do that rapid fire pray flick thing, but once I do that I'll definitely use this guide.
I just wanted to thank you for the guide. You made the colosseum really approachable for me and I just got my first quiver. Considering I don't have an inferno cape, I'm not max combat, and I haven't even done many raids. This is without a doubt my biggest achievement in the game so far. Thank you so much!
Watched a lot of guides on the Colosseum and every one has left me feeling overwhelmed and like it's going to be such a sweaty, tick perfect experience to have to get the quiver, After watching your guide I felt way more confident and decided to give it a try. Got to wave 9 on my first go, 11 on my second and then got to the boss on my last attempt but got clapped in seconds🤣 Can't wait to see the Sol Heredit guide from you soon. You are the GOAT at OSRS bossing guides. Keep it up dude.
Tons of high level content can be simplified into much easier methods. It is my goal to showcase how to do these "easy routes", rather than focusing on the efficient sweaty tactics. Get ready, we are going to the inferno next :)
This is incredibly useful. First attempt with this method & I made it to wave 10 then left because of bad invos & low supplies 😂. This was extremely helpful! Thank you ❤️
Thank you! I know a very simple method to do the inferno that doesn't require all of the fancy prayer techniques that most guides recommend. It simplifies the waves soooo much! I think I will be making an inferno guide here shortly :)
Had made it to wave 11 a few times and final boss once before watching this video but wanted to look at some guides to try and get more consistent with reaching the boss. The note about running diagonally is so simple yet so smart, I've always just ran to the nearest pillar and my runs often end up dying if the stack is terrible because it usually doesn't fix the stack and sometimes makes it worse. Excited to try this, thank you for the guide.
incredible guide. I watched this, the entire hour before sleeping last night. now today my rested brain knows what to do, how to solve the waves and stacks. Thanks a lot :)
i got 1 kc last night, and then a 2nd kc today. I was quite worried about stratedgies getting nerfed so ive been no lifing it so badly. thanks so much i adjusted your stratedgy with lightbearer and eldritch with a complete max melee switch. bringing only 7 restores and 10 brews. with a menaphite remedy + super combat for the boss last KC i did i had 5.5 restores and 9.9 brews for the boss. it allows you to brute force, you can do many mistakes on the boss if you are brewing on cooldown and let the menaphite fix your brewed down stats
Liked and subbed. This guide was absolutely phenomenal and made someone like myself (no infernal cape, recently just started doing duo CM's, etc) feel like this was actually something I could accomplish. Made it to wave 6 on blind attempts, looking forward to seeing wave 11 soon now. 😎
Struggled to get past wave 5, made it to wave 10 (didn't realize lions could attack same time when charged up and made this mistake turning corner to kill minotaur that was healing other lion, but pretty much had the wave solved) Sooooooooooooo doable wow, best guide to date! Will need that final boss one soon
Great video. I hope you can do a video explaining how to handle when A and B spawn different styles. Unfortunately that didn't happen in this video, giving you the easiest possible combinations. I'm not having so much luck though, and keep getting different styles spawning on A and B in waves 5 or 6, etc. And then I die. :D
Thank you for this! literally the best teaching video i have ever found! thanks for the thorough look at how to deal with stacks, and flicking prayers.
Great guide. Only thing is every wave is solved for you in this video. Ive had countless spawns with rangers and magers or lions/mage/range combo that spawn unsafe behind pillar. Would be nice to see clips of actual challenging set ups on spawn.
Well deserved sub, your way of explaining everything is so straightforward & can actually understand it. Just a tip though, should include any plugins used during your run so not asked all throughout the comments. Look forward to your next vid!
At 29:50 you can attack the second mage from front tile with shadow/myopia3. Also at. 33:00 you can reach ranger with shadow. Thank you for the guide this is awesome
such a good guide and you explained it so well. Unfortunately I think they may be nerfing the autocast with myopia. Would love to see another guide once that kicks in
Thank you so much for the casual guide! Got so lucky that you finished the waves before the 6hr lol The way you explain things makes me feel like everything will be OK and there’s no need to be stressed. Love your energy bro
Yes! I love finding the easiest ways to do what most refer to as "difficult" content. Things can always be simplified and made easy. Would you believe me if I told you the inferno can be made even easier than this :)?
He's got such a good way of breaking things down There's simply no need to offtick everything all the time and risk death from one mistake Outside of speedruns, slow and steady is the way!
This is the guide, I haven't even attempted the colosseum yet. I watched this video once and feel like I can do it without much stress. Credit to you as a teacher. I was laughing the entire video. "And it's instantly solved."
I've been doing this method for quite a few runs at this point, and while it might not ALWAYS produce super spooned spawns, it seems to lead to simple solves a huge percentage of the time! Wishing you all the luck when you decide to finally dive in and give it a try yourself :) With a little bit of luck, your waves will be INSTANTLY SOLVED ;D
Made it to wave 11 with this guide so far, my biggest problem are enemies spawning on tile A and B at the same time and i start to panic... just need to get lucky with the spawns now
Often times if I get a very difficult spawn I will rotate to a nearby pillar once the melee spawns (see wave 6), then once things calm down a bit running diagonally can often solve the wave. But obviously every situation is different.
Okay this actually works I can confirm. I would say it's like 80% chance on wave 6+, you get a really easy solve. Got my to my first time at the boss after trying this like 3 times.
@@VideoGameBot soon enough! Another thing for anyone wondering is this also works with melee method, just be prepared to bring more brews/less scp’s compared to other conventional guides on colo
I didn't know you could set up tick counters to actually count # of ticks, that seems useful in general to practice with timing pray flicking against monsters that attack at certain rates to build up to Colosseum. What's the plugin called? I use Visual Metronome and I don't know if it has that feature.
Yo man thanks for the guide. Your CoX guides did some serious work for me and I've already gotten to Sol 4 times (pb 55%, always die to tick perfect pray attack lol) with tactics from this vid. Question for you: what have you found to be the best move when you get a mager and ranger spawn on A and B? This still seems to be the situation that kills me the most on the waves. Thanks!!
Very proud of you! If you can get the boss to 50%, you can kill him too :) GL! As for the double A/B spawn, that's where it gets tricky. Assuming its wave 7, 8, or 11, according to my strat you would have your melee gear on, and your mage pray on. At that point I would do 1 of 2 things: 1.) wait for the monsters to get as close to the pillar as possible, and THEN rotate to a new pillar. This will require some quick thinking for which pillar to run to. Running north east is always a pretty safe option, but the minotaur can come charging in and mess you up again. You gotta play this one by ear. 2.) Or you can try off-ticking the mobs. This is much easier said than done, and IMO this is a high level technique. I try to avoid offticking when possible, and prefer pillar hopping in casual runs. NOTE: If you are hopping pillars, now is the time to start chugging brew. Just throw your mage or range pray on (depending on the wave), run, and start chugging! It's trivial, it's risky, but its the easiest method to get yourself a little breathing room (check my wave 6)
This is hands down the best guide. I cant tell you how many times ive failed wave 6 and the unstack method running DIAGONAL pillar. I cant believe i never thought of that. Its genius. Ill be getting my quiver because of you. And just like that its instantly solved 🤌
The diagonal pillar can seem scary. Who would have thought that rushing straight through the center would lead to instantly solving a wave in so many cases!?! Wishing you all the luck! Go get that quiver, strongboi :)
Interesting video, but as far as I know isnt this an incredibly lucky run? Ive never seen you have a manticore + ranger/mager spawn on A + B. I've never reached wave 9 without that happening. Did you force that luck by using your engage starting tile?
I got somewhat lucky with wave 10+11 spawns, but my wave 6 was pretty nasty, especially once the melee + mager spawned. From what I have noticed, using the tick-perfect engage method leads to very spooned spawns VERY often. Sometimes you get bad invos, sometimes you get bad spawns, but this method seems to maximize the chance of getting spooned spawns to a VERY high degree. TLDR; It was lucky, but you get lucky spawns with this method VERY often.
I love how you talk to me like a kid.. no, really, I do, I can actually understand wtf is going on, so thanks! Ps. You have a similar tone as Trump lol.
Awesome vid dude, this really helped me take things on one at a time. I did just die on wave 6 lmao, I'm not sure why (maybe i was a tick late leaving engage tile) but I had fremmys, a ranger and a mage target me on the south side of north pillar. Should I have ran to the opposite diagonal pillar?
GL king! And running diagonal is usually a good option, but it REALLY shines when you have a nasty 3/4 stack that you are trying to break up. If you dont have a 3/4 stack it is often safe to run to south pillar. You got this!
I think you’ve started you already planned to, but please make a new guide with the changes to myopia and the range fremmy. Your guide is the only one that’s significantly helped me and with myopia losing its freeness is gonna be a real bitch since I don’t have SotD or anything
Thanks! No changes yet, but there is a very high chance the myopia technique gets nerfed next week. If that happens, I will be making an updated guide shortly after.
After watching enough of these videos I feel like I can do this first or second try on my Ironman with whip and trident/ancient magics and BP. I can always BP the mage fremmy for health. And if it's a real bad spawn run diagonal or south column and it'll be ok
What do you suggest to someone who sometimes misclicks on pressing items or where I go in the game? I learned to gear switch going up and down instead of left and right since it feels easier for example but mainly needing advice to find out what to do when I click somewhere to run to and accidentally go to another tile or something gets dragged. How can I practice to become better at efficiently clicking? Thanks for the guide being more noob friendly for people like me
Hmmm... Well lets start with inventory. Make sure you use the "anti drag" plugin (it should be a base-plugin. no need to install). It helps with misclicks in inventory where you accidentally "drag" your item instead of clicking it. Its game changing. As for misclicking ingame, it happens to the best of us. sometimes we click on tiles we didnt mean to click on. The best advice I have is to not panic. One click at a time. Dont spam click around or your avatar can go crazy and now you have no idea whats going on. Stay calm, Go slow, If a mistake happens, dont panic
Doesn't the description for myopia specifically say the range for autocast is reduced as well as ranged attacks? Is it a bug that you're able to barrage at max range?
It doesn't specifically mention autocasting. I have been wondering why the barrage range is not affected by myopia, but it's been this way since day 1 of launch. I was curious if they would change the barrage/myopia method with an update or not, but they seem to be leaving it as is. It's really convenient, and offers quite a bit of additional options to solve waves using the mage method
@@VideoGameBot I’m gonna have to get back in there and give it a shot. I made it through wave 5 just kinda stumbling around, got a venator bow for the fremmys, brought range switch, this guide makes it look brain off. Super helpful!
I know this is an old video but I hope you see and respond, what would be a viable enough alternative to the shadow? Would you just recommend camping barrages at that point?
I have been doing this non stop for 3 days, and i can't believe how luck the spawns are on this guide. I'm getting multiple south spawns a lot of the time. This guide is good but literally all your waves are solved instantly. Unreal.
If you get a manticore + ranger spawning to your right, it can get a little chaotic. Often times if you run diagonally to the south-east pillar it will give you a much nicer opportunity to deal with a single mob at a time. Sadly, I did not get an opportunity in this video to show how to deal with that scenario, but I have found that with this engage method you have a very high chance of avoiding this situation a significant amount of the time.
