New follower of your channel. You and your videos have been a blessing Heidi 😊 I look forward to your videos every morning. Been listening while I work. I’m a young mama that learns a lot from you, so truly thank you!!
Thank you so much for this teaching. We live 20 miles west of Rocky Mount,N.C., didn't realize that you were that close to us. I so pray that Jesus comes very soon to take us with Him 🙏 God bless you and your family. Much love in Christ Jesus 🙏❤️
I found cute pop tube sensory toys for our autistic child (all of us really) 😅 that have little trumpet attachments to have fun preparing the kids for the idea. I'd love a good shofar, I'm definitely looking into getting one. If we can't get one this year I might use the didgeridoo I have. didn't really get how the days worked in relation to the moon that's neat! The enthusiasm for the added excitement of that- brings me joy. Reminding me also of the return of the Lord! I grew up reading (parts of) the Bible and had no idea about these, I think most don't. Not to mention how Jesus is in the Tanuk/Old Testament! This is the first place I had seen mention of it and this will be our first year for the holy days. ❤🎉 (other than Passover). I've actually been inspired to learn Hebrew, it's tough but I've never felt more impassioned to learn a language as I am to feel closer to the Lord and perhaps useful if I get to visit Jerusalem one day! I've definitely been feeling worked up! 😂 Our home isn't quite as prepared as I'd like, so I appreciate simplicity in the menu and everything. Super neat that one of the little ones is baking! Happy birthday to your son! My birthday is coming up during Sukkot. I joke about this with my husband because it's likely when Jesus was born, and our daughter was due on Dec 25. So I say now I get to have my birthday near Jesus'. 😄 Silly I know. Shalom! 🍯 🎺 🕊️
I am living in Cambodia, visiting Germany this year. I am the only person to have this believes, the other family members celebrate normal European Christian holidays. So I am always a little lost on when to celebrate what.
I subscribed last week and am really enjoying it! I wanted to study eschatology. Your channel is very educational and fun! I love how you decorate for the feasts and hearing of the meals you’re preparing! I look forward to learning more from your channel. God Bless You! 🙏🏻😇❤️
Sounds wonderful!! I love it! Your home looks beautiful! This will be our first Yom Teruah celebration. It will be super simple but looking forward to it! Thank you for sharing! 💛
So happy you are learning about Gods holy days. But Americans are not gentiles. They are from the tribe of Manasseh so they are actually Israelites, one of the ten tribes of Israel. Genesis 48:1- 22 In case you are wondering Ephraim is Great Britain 🕎✡️
Shavua Tov! I was wondering if I could get some advice. I have two babies under three and need some help learning about organization with your typical baby item clutter. Also my husband and I teach Torah in our community.I teach the children and he teaches the adults. Going on 4 1/2 years and it just seems like entering into the new week I’m so exhausted after Shabbat ministering. It’s a true blessing but it can take a lot out of a person. I was wondering if maybe you could share bits of advice on rest for moms in ministry.
Saturday question: How do you go about handling family when you stop doing Christmas? We stopped Halloween and Easter a long time ago but Christmas is hard. 5 years ago our youngest had an accident that left him with a brain injury and it’s been a hard , sad 5 years. I think my children feel like Christmas is such a happy time (even during the darker years in our family) that it would be a big big deal to them to stop celebrating it not to mention extended family. I have become very convicted about it the last couple of years though. Praying on how to handle it but wanted to ask for any thoughts ❤
Hi Heidy. I am based in the Netherlands. Last week I was preparing for the sermon in our home-church, I felt compelled to speak on true and false conversion, and concluding with Mat. 25, the 10 virgins. Not realizing at that time that it would be Yom Teruah the week after the sermon. I overheared one of the neighbours saying that they were going to attend a wedding coming friday (today). The Lord prompted me to check when Yom Teruah would be and I found out it would be today (as I am writing this). How awesome to see you making it full circle by connecting the virgins to Yom Teruah. Praise God.
Hi Heidi. I hope it's okay for me to post this. I just want to voice my opinion and then something Amir said about the Feasts of Trumpets. I will quote him first. In a few days, Jews around the world will celebrate the Feast of Trumpets. Known in the Hebrew Bible as "Yom Truah." It is traditionally referred by the Hebrew "Rosh Hashanah, " or "the head of the year." Too many Christians are looking at this day on the Hebrew calendar as the day of the rapture because of the reference to the trumpet of God in 1 Thessalonians 4 and in 1 Corinthians 15. Let me make it very clear - the trumpet of the rapture is the trumpet of God, not one belonging to the Jews who gather in a synagogue to blow a shofar. Just as the four spring festivals were fulfilled in their chronological order during the first century, the last three will be fulfilled in the near future in chronological order, as well. . Thus, the only future event that can possibly be the fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets is the second coming of Jesus. But, that will not be FOR the church but WITH the church.. That event will be followed by the repentance of Israel, which will fulfill Yom Kippur. Then their entering into the MIllennial Kingdom to fulfill the Feast of Tabernacles. The rapture requires no specific day on the Hebrew calendar. It is imminent. No one knows the day or the hour. The rapture isn't limited to only two days each year. Be ready today. I look at it like this. Even Jesus didn't know the day or hour when He would be sent back. He knew about the different Feasts. No doubt about that. But in the Galatian world, which the Apostles were, a wedding proposal had to happen. She would have to accept. Then the man left, not setting a date of the wedding, to add a room onto the father's house. The Father and only him, decided as to when the wedding would take place after the room was finished. Then one day, when the father decided, would tell his son to go collect the bride. The bride, was always waiting with her wedding garment at hand. This is the rapture. I never understood why believers started believing the Church rapture had anything to do with Jewish Holy Days. I hope this doesn't offend. Good movie to watch is After the Wrath. Blessings.
Thank you for this video I love the idea of celebrating God’s Holy days! I’m new to your channel and have been really enjoying it! Thanks and God bless💙
I think you just became my new favorite channel! I can’t believe how much content you have on here - can’t wait to glean more from what you share!! ❤️ I am a fellow feast-keeping stay at home adhd mom and am thrilled to have found your account because I feel like what you share can help me in my journey so much!
Seeing the new moon signifies the official start of Yom Teruah- so if you don't see it, it hasn't started yet-- that's why most celebrate for 2 days as "no man knows the day or hour". And we share our church online, A&P Home Ministries-- you can see our statement of faith here: www.heavenlymindedhome.com/we-believe-and-teach
I understand, but what are we "seeing"? Astronomically, the new moon is no moon. Nothing to see. Is it the same thing we are looking for here? Empty sky? I don't know if I'm making sense. @@HeavenlyMindedHome
@@jubileeforestfarm the first sign of the moon after the new moon phase? I’m wondering if they mean just after it completely disappears. You have no idea how hard it’s been to get an answer for this 😂 I’m watching Jerusalem live to see when they all get excited and know once and for all. lol.
Yes I am going to be celebrating with you this year! I am in Louisiana originally from Oregon though but this is home for now as I'm just passing through until I go to my home for forever!
If we take all of scripture, in proper context, we see a very clear answer regarding clean & unclean. We want to understand the purpose of the law & the purpose of what God gave to the Israelites. Here's some info: www.gotquestions.org/Bible-foods.html
@@HeavenlyMindedHome Thank you Heidi. I hear you. Love the video and your heart to follow Jesus and do what He did and celebrate Yah's feasts! 😊 Just a couple things that I thought might be helpful for you and others who seeking answers in this area. When it reads that Jesus declared all foods clean (Mark 7:19) This was added to the Bible. Its not in the greek. Its in parentheses. When I first saw this, I didn't believe it and had to check for myself. I checked in my own Bible and sure enough, there it was. I wondered why they would want to add this? I would like to share how I came to understand clean eating. I had a couple of thoughts that came to my mind when I was learning about what God calls food. If I am following Jesus and asking myself "What would Jesus do?". I want to do what He did. He did not eat pork or anything unclean or what Yah calls an abomination, so why would I want to eat it and be proud to have the freedom to eat what He considers abominable? 🤔 This was hard to understand at first, but the more I read the scripture through for myself and not just commentary from experts with a bias (which is what I would have done normally, anyone else look for confirmation bias?) 🙋♀️ I realized that it comes down to these questions (well these are a few of them): "Does God change? Does His word change? Would the Son do anything contrary to the Father's Word? If we are grafted in to Israel, would He not then want us to look like Israel? Would I eat pork when we feast with Him? If I had an adopted child would they get different rules than my own children or do they become my own and therefore have the same rules? So many questions popped in my head and over time through serious prayer and reading the word for myself, I realized that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Sorry for the long reply, but I wanted to leave a helpful and thought out response. I hope this helps anyone who is seeking in this area. ❤️🙏😘 Thank you Heidi for what you do. Blessings, Lindsey
My husband and his associate pastor will be doing a thorough teaching through this here shortly since there does seem to be so much confusion. :) Stay tuned! XO
I was disappointed with Kirk and his wife, and their reality dating show. It was as worldly as any. Kirk also said he doesn’t care what Christians think. We really need to pray for him, and those he influences.
