careful buddy- i know they're 85% silver, it's the other 10-15% you want to be careful with- CADMIUM! you don't want to handle that with your bare hands or smelt without good PPE. keep up the great work!
Пускатель выглядит целым, даже если сгорела катушка- она легко меняется. Цена такого пускателя многократно выше чем стоимость извлечённого серебра. Кстати эти китайские чинты очень даже приличного качества.
Excuse me I'm new and i just want to know there's another way to remove the silver from the Cooper i have some but they are big i try a torch and i seems that is not working
Great video if instead of smelting the contacts could the cadmium and silver contacts be desolved in boiling sulfuric acid then separated by adding HCL to precipitate the silver chloride Leaving the cadmium in solution?
Hi, I am struggling with the following problem. I have an alloy that is made up of 89% copper 10% silver and 1% palladium. I am trying to dissolve the copper witout attacking the silver or palladium. I have tried HCL + h2O2 but it seems that it does attack silver and palladium. And tried also H2SO4 + H2O2 this final solution seems to do the job but in the end there is material missing when I compare to the initial spectral analisis
д.?? Спасибо.
Hi mr. Owl! Just thinking about collaborating. Whenever I researched about copelation, the information I got was that cupels are made whit bone ash. Have you tried making one of this material? A hug.
No I haven't, cupels can be made from many materials. The material must be porous and should't react chemically with litharge (bone ash, magnesia, Portland cement, slaked lime etc.)
Got it. With all due respect, I'm not contesting your knowledge, I just wrote because I watched in a TV documentary in which a guy wearing a turban, melted a few gold nuggets with lead into a bone tip, which formed a kind of crucible. The furnace was a hole dug in the ground, where he put the coal and breathed air. In just 17 minutes the copelation was finished. So I thought that although there are several ways to do it, some may be more effective than others. I am very grateful for the attention you received to my request for help, and I would like to be able to cooperate with you as well. A hug.
