Wishing you a Happy New Year filled with light and love! 🎉 Regarding your suggestion that we should always work with clients 1:1, at the very minimum, how many clients should a, say 7-figure coach, work with? Also, what are you thoughts on doing Research & Development as an alternative to learning through 1:1 coaching? Thank you!
Happy new year!! Great question and I think each biz owner needs to assess that on a regular basis. There may be times when you want more or less or even zero 1:1 clients for a short time. Do you mean using your 1:1 coaching clients as means of R&D? If so, I thihnk it's great for most research you need to do, but remember that the stages your clients are going thorugh with you are different than the stages they were going through to find you and then decide to work with you, so it's still sometimes needed to have convos with people who AREN'T yet working with a coach to understand their needs and concerns better. Loved this video, totally agree with the 1:1 coaching tip. It's vital to build that understanding of what your client (and market) is going through and how they communicate it. It also allows you to spot key patterns, that you can then use to formulate a group program or video program.

So I would categorize podcasts more of a marketing avenue versus directly income producing (not that they won’t/can’t derive an income but it would likely be income from one of the things mentioned here, such as products, services, sponsors etc). Does that make sense? As a marketing avenue I think it can be great if it’s a good fit for your audience as well as your strengths.

I would probably refer you to Amy Porterfield. Her system for developing a course is hands down the best. It's SUCH a big topic that it would take a full course like hers to really explain it, but I'd really only regurgitate her methods - and probably not as well. ;) Another great source is Haley Burkhead!
