Ok @@daniel..cooper, I have watched a lot of your videos, and this morning I had a neat idea watching this video. Do one of your crazy metallic galaxy ideas or something similar on one of the heart molds or smaller rounds, let that cure, then encase it in one of the bigger moulds that it would fit inside of. Hopefully that makes sense?
FYI, Daniel, I was in my early 30s when I started having trouble with my words. I'm 65 now the problem isn't any worse but since I had concerns, my doc sent me for memory testing. It seems to be a fairly common thing. My memory issues at this point are down to stress. It is worse when I'm tired. Just wanted you to know it isn't uncommon and probably nothing to be concerned about.
Don't worry too much about not finding words. I am having trouble finding words in my mother's tongue because I only watch english content. As long as I can remember who I am and where I live I am not all too worried 😂
“sticky uppy bits”-so glad to see that I am not the only one to use this very technical term! Gorgeous pendants as usual. Love to see you do something in a set--matching earrings and a pendant and maybe a bracelet???
I can share a tip I learned while making cake pops: after dipping and waiting for it to drip off, lightly tap the wrist of the hand you're holding the stick with a few times. It helps getting rid of the access faster without having to scrape.
Sooo sooo pretty sir! I'd love to see a video on using colorants in UV resin vs colorants for longer cure resins. I've been experimenting a bit myself but get super frustrated when wasting resin of either type. Resin is #expensive, right? 😛
It would have been nice to share a link to the original video you saw this on. There is a small channel who makes this style and makes it look very easy. Using something motorised for the swirl seems to give a different effect to doing it by hand.
Wow. I am amazed by your dedication and ability to think outside the box and open new areas of an art form. Who knew science and art would go together. Well done!
Wouhaou !!!!! 🥰💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
New subscriber here, hello! 👋🏻 Between the use of the cat eye nail polish in your crafts and the genius that is the 'swirl' I just had to subscribe! 😂 Where abouts are you from in the UK? I live not far from Brighton and am trying to place your accent 😂
Hey Daniel! They look amazing! I tried your galaxy video that you did before, wasn't a fan of the bulbous back, so I made the base with a flat mould, using the deeper mould as the lens, it looked different to yours but it was still really effective. Great video, you're so inspirational, thanks as always x
This is just brilliant !! I just love everything cosmos etc . AND to be able to do it with UV Resin even better. That red one with the tail.. looks kinda like a comet hurtling thru space. Just brilliant !!!
Oh my goodness! I was just thinking about this last week and wondering if it could be done with resin! I'm sure you've already tried this, but instead of leveling the 2 halves with resin, what about sanding them? These turned out stunning!
ABSOLUTELY ST🎉UNNING, love the universe in a pendant, and it definitely looks like glass😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 your right Daniel todays is the best!! Your our genius 😊😊😊😊😊
I'm not watching this video. I just came here to tell ask you why you would think new people might tune in when there is nothing describing what this video might be about????? What do you do on this channel????? Must be hard getting new views with titles and thumbnails like these.
Hi Uncle Richards, I'm glad you added a view to my video, it only took 5 seconds to register as a view and really helps my content get pushed out more 😁. There is a video title which explains what this is about....incase you missed that part and only saw what you wanted to see.... which is how thumbnails work.... the thumbnail worked to make you click into the video to air your opinion 😁. Thanks for the great comment 🥰
Go on line and look up how a black hole looks. The black hole that was used in the movie Interstellar, NASA says is likely what a real black hole looks like. Please try a black hole that was in the movie. If anyone can do it, you can. It would be quite stunning with black and a brilliant gold.
Hi Dan! Your planetary galaxies are absolutely fantastic!!! The amazing colours! The beautiful whirlwind! The final touch is the glass effect! Wow I don't even know what words to use to summarise this video anymore... 🤭😜Thank you Dan!!! 🤩👋👋🪐💫✨
I was wondering the other day what filling a shape in a mold have way up with hot glue and the topping it and domeing it wit resin what would it look like I didn't try it yet😮
I love that absolutely gorgeous blue color that you start with. ❤❤❤ You always come up with some of the most interesting techniques! Keep up the amazing work. Absolutely gorgeous!
Oh my, that is stunning, doesn't matter how long a piece takes to make, it's the end result that's important. I have fibromyalgia and get words muddled or I can't think what something is called, I think it also comes with age lol x
You put so much effort and love into your artwork, it's amazing. I can't see tou failing, simply the piece didn't turn out as you wanted. It's still gorgeous, it takes some serious skills to make something like this. You should be very proud of yourself.
Hi Daniel, really enjoying your vids. Just a quick question regarding this dipping technique - do you use a particular type of UV resin for this? I’ve tried but I find my uv resin pulls away. Even when I sand my piece first. I’ve tried Lets Resin UV and also all the J Diction ones. Do I need to purchase a particular brand that has a higher viscosity UV Resin? I really need advice because I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and I hope you can help. Thank you so much for all your videos. Learning so much from you and the resin community. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Those damn bubbles! Get your electric toothbrush and touch it to the bottom of the mould and you should see them debond from the surfaces and travel to the top. Beautiful piece.
Love it! In my opinion the bubbles look like it's space things meant to be there n they still look neat. As a creator myself I completely understand the frustration though. The b-b's for nail art are called caviar beads if you're curious lol I know the name n still call them mini b-b's lol beautiful work
Wow! I just found Your Channel, or YT found me. Whatever =) Do you Ceramic Coat the Finished Products? And did you one with one Layer over another by curing the previos before? I like to check out your channel now =)
Beautiful pendants, Dan! I’m curious, do you think a small vacuum chamber would help to remove bubbles before any curing steps? Also, would it hurt anything if you sanded the two halves flat prior to joining them, rather than adding a layer of resin to flatten them?
Haha! I have a similar issue that made me stop watching paint pouring videos on my phone. Every time the artist would tilt the canvas to create the design and take some of the paint off, I would be tilting my phone! I wouldn't notice until the auto-rotate function on my screen activated and the video switched orientation! 😂😂
Absolutely beautiful❤,I’ve been wanting to do the galaxy ball but the way I seen it looks a bit complicated and really couldn’t see what is going on when you are swirling the colors around. I love this way of doing it. It may be a lot of stages but definitely worth the effort. Thank you for sharing your method with us. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next. The professor must be cooking up something new 😂😂. Thank you again for sharing your creativity. Definitely inspiring!!
