An exceptionally rare 26th floor apartment with stunning views towards St Pauls and Westminster, has graced our books in the exclusive Lauderdale Tower.
Type 1A three bed flat in this highly sought after and renowned Brutalist development. Well proportioned with underfloor heating throughout you will find three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living/dining room and separate kitchen area. One of the best features of this apartment is that each bedroom as well as the lounge benefit from direct access to a wraparound terrace with arguably the best westerly views that this tower has to offer. Fireworks night and New Years Eve will be nothing short of spectacular with firework displays near and far to be enjoyed right from your very own private viewing podium.
Get your creative juices flowing as this property is a blank canvas for you to put your stamp on and if a project isn’t for you then we can assist so that it will be turnkey ready. What you can be sure of is that the remarkable architecture here will create the perfect backdrop for a truly stunning interior. Not one that finds it easy to visualise a space? Well do not worry, we have help at hand! We have digitally staged the lounge to give you an idea but have also teamed up with highly regarded interior designers that can help bring your ideas to life or give you some assistance along the way with mock up mood boards at the ready.
Lauderdale tower was constructed in 1974 and is the brainchild of architects Chamberlin, Powell and Bon. It is one of the finest examples of British brutalist architecture we have in London and as such received its Grade II listed status in recent years. It is the western-most tower of the three within the development with a 24 hour concierge and underground parking (subject to negotiation). Transport wise it is close to Barbican and Farringdon underground stations. On completion in 2021 Farringdon Station will be a vital interchange between the North-South Thameslink and the East-West Crossrail service. Crossrail will give direct access to Canary Wharf in 9 minutes & Bond Street in 3 minutes. Centrally positioned for the city and within walking distance to major London landmarks it is extremely conveniently located.
Any property collectors out there that want to add something unique to their portfolio? Well this one is for you...Towers are not made like this anymore and as such you would be owning a piece of history itself. Measuring just shy of 1100 sqft and benefitting from a long lease spanning until 2196 this is a property that makes for a great investment. Investors, families, young professionals looking for that wow factor space... this appeals to all.

It's a good video, but a floorplan would have been useful.

It is 70s - the tower in the film opened in 1973. Only the arts centre was opened in 82

@@ZeldaFitzcorrect me if I'm wrong but it wasn't the 1950s but was in fact 1965 when building work started on the Barbican Estate?

"Opened in 1982..."? I remember going there in the 1970s!

I feel he should have researched better. This tower was opened in 1973. And those decor mockups are hideous. OMG
