wrote this with tenalice in mind lmfao. imagined her sitting opposite me on a shinkansen with her pretty blonde hair in a bouncy ponytail, back and shoulders straight, sipping tea like a proper lady. she is running away from wonderland, having had enough of gambling bunnies and tea parties. we are both headed to a blue beach - that is, in this distant future, there exist beaches where the sand and waters are blue, and you can’t really tell where the shoreline starts or ends. the train travels at a steady pace. tenalice sits before me; she is lovely, but also, very tired -- so am i.
