We enjoy a day out at the nearby Martin Mere Wetland Centre.
Tilly takes us on a new favourite walk, (a great place for boaters with dogs), and we return to Liberty just in time to capture a rain storm - from inside!

Grandma’s Sausage Cabbage and Potato Pot Meal
Large pot with lid (big enough for 2 days)
Cut up some Polish Kielbasa sausage
Lightly brown in oil
Remove the sausages and set aside
Leave oil in pan
Cut up cabbage - I prefer red cabbage, but any will do.
Peel and cut up potatoes (6 large)
Make a layer of the cabbage, then top with a layer of potato
Repeat layers
Finally, put sausage on the top
Fill pot about 2/3 with water
Heat to boil, then simmer slowly for a few hours
You can simmer on top of your multi-fuel stove.
Serve with bread and butter
