Horse carriages- mainly they aren’t given enough rest, have more health issues, have been banned in several places, and several have been seen collapsed on roads in various cities bc of exhaustion, heat, etc etc so your guesses were correct! another argument is horses nowadays aren’t as well suited for pulling loads like their ancestors were and then another is just the general “animals aren’t meant to make humans lives easier at their own expense” and “animals aren’t our to do that with” etc loved this video!!! loved seeing you and clara together!!! my two fav people to watch on YT

Hi, Charleston local here! I was so excited to see that you were in chucktown!! For your future trips, you should hit up these places: The Harbinger or Harken Cafe (sister cafes) - coffee and breakfast, Felix - BEST cocktails and my fav espresso martini, Blue Bicycle - cute bookstore!, Stella's - amazinggg greek food, Blind Tiger pub - good vibes all around. I love your content and maybe I'll run into ya when you're back down here

If you go on a carriage ride in Charleston, they tell you that the horses are treated incredibly well. They dont keep them in the city - they have a farm that all the horses stay on when they're not working and I think they have daily limits on how many times a horse can be out. Charleston horses vs Central Park/NYC horses are drastically different!
