Welcome to Part 3 of my 1968 Mercedes-Benz 250 W114 series 0.5 project. In this episode I keep working and find a surprise in the fuel tank. I also attempt to start the engine.
Strichacht Oldtimer restauration.
I don't claim this to be a DIY instruction video. It's just a movie of me working on one of my own classics.

I have found such car too , but very sad condition . Thinking about to buy it . And it loks simple to me after comlete restouration of e30 . Its really simple . Thanks for your vids . Take the video about tank . We are waiting . Sorry for my English , im from Belarus .

If the tank was so gross, filled with rust, I imagine you had to clean the fuel lines, to prevent that rust,from further entering the engine, or the carburetors,

The fuel lines will be replaced. Yes, the carbs had to be cleaned thoroughly. More updates regading fuel tank restoration etc to come soon!
